You are talking about the "old style" LEDs, not the COBs and QB's. Let's be clear now.
Nope im talking the newest tech 2018/2019 and this has always been their problems.

basically if you put their spectral output on a spectrum chart you would see -plenty of gaps and stuff that other lights have plenty of.

leds are piss poor in spectrum compared to the phosphor used to replicate the sun in t5's, please do some real homework before once again giving me the same answer to everything :-)

Ok buddy if you remove heat from your tent. Yes it doesn't persay cool. But it makes the temp much more diserable for the plants. Thanks for you input
Cool just dont want ya to fall victim to aload of broscience, we have done these topics to death here so i can just skip to the answers for ya :-)

Oh and by the way, diodes dont hold spectrum over distance like a single point light does, i did mention the differences between multi and single before but i take it no one listens :-)

Well the title of the thread says best light...really the best light is what a person can afford when they first start up.
I remember long ago there was no lights like today...if you wanted to grow indoors you had to use floros lol...man I'm glad those days are over lol

I wonder what the growers argued about in those days?

There was no internet in those days ...you had to grow out the old Columbia seeds you got in a bag lol

I don't argue usually...have no time for that.
I really try to live a drama free life.

Must have also been before someone combined marketing, graphic design and liquid nutrients.

Definitely strain related.
Easy to do with the right strain.
I lost count of how many times I have done it.
Wish you took pics of the 12 blades under LED.
Just sayin I've seen it countless times under HID or the sun and would like to see a pic of one from an LED grow some day.
I don't take photos sorry. But if you grow 3rd dimension from TGA they have a extremely high rate of leaves that do this. They are also maybe 1 in 5 that will grow a small bud in the middle of a fan leaf.

had to use 20-20-20 ferts lol...the blue stuff lol
It worked but most plants at harvest were pretty green lol even after flushing for a few days.
Back then you had to teach yourself.
Makes me a better grower of today though.

The first plant I ever grew indoors was a seed from some Columbian Gold back in the seventies in a box rigged up with an incandescent light. I didn't know anything about 12/12 and just plugged the light in during the day because at night there were light leaks and I didn't want my parents to find it. I was thirteen or fourteen years old. It actually flowered but I'm sure I cut it much too soon and I only got a couple bowls in my brass pipe.
