best light for seeds/clones ?

I would use T-5 Flourescent's, for doing those in veg cycle, i've put them directly to flower before, cute lil collar nuggies.
Low heat, efficient, good use of space, and yeah, the low heat. 
Iono though, heard alot of goods and bads from the led systems... Spendy spendy though, i'll wait.
