best light combos?

What do you guys think would be the best set-up, as far as lighting goes, for a smaller size grow (6-10 plants) with clones at the ready? Tell me what you think or tell me if I'm totally wrong if you think i am, any advice is appreciated. Should i try to have a couple 1000watts, or four 600's, or like six 400's for the larger plants? and maybe a shelf of T-5 flourescents for the seedlings and beginning of the vegetative stage?

Or maybe i should lower my ambitions to start with?

t-5 for seedling (ive seen some great veg w/ fluros as well)
but i go metal halide for veg and hps for flowering
your right, your too ambitious, way too much light for 6-10 plants imo, but it seems money isnt an issue if you were comtemplating 4-600 or 6-400
Ide cop (2) 600s for your situation at hand and upgade as needed.

Guess ill try working my way up and upgrade what i think needs it after seeing what results i have.

For 6-10 plants under 2-600s you would be insanely happy with the results. Getting your nutes dialed in is the tricky part.
