Problem with first grow

Hi all,

I started my first ever grow with just two plants. I dont really have the space but wanted to start with a small number of plants to get started. Unfortunately one of the first two died, and the other plant is currently just starting week 6 now. I have attached a picture but it’s growth is seriously stunted from when i compare with other plants online and Im also confused at whats going on altogether with the plant.
Can I get any advice on what’s going on? And on if its worth to keep the plant going or should I just give up?

my watering schedule vary from either once or twice a week (I try to water it every two or three days). I have monitored everything but the ph so that might be the problem.
btw the soil mix Im using is maybe 40% coco coir, 30-35% peat reduced all purpose compost and about 15-20 % perlite.
the temperature during lights on are always ranging from 20to 26 degree C and from 18 to 20 during lights off.
Hum, what else? The set up is definitely not the best but I believe its good, ( I use a sun light curtains to cover the all set up, in the image the curtain is off so that I could take pictures). I used 600 W full spectrum lights.
Anyway, many thanks for any suggestions, it’s greatly appreciated.

That little guy is hungry. Are you using any nutrients? You need to be.

Also, I'm fairly certain you do not have a 600w light. It's probably "equivalent" to 600w. (Hint: it's not that either)

In my opinion, I would either pick peat or coco and go with that. Coco should be getting fed every day one the plant is established.

I am using ph perfect nutrients but tbf I have been using less than half the recommended, so Ill switch to the full recommended dose. Btw would you advise me to stop this plant pr is there still hope?

I'm a glutton for punishment so I hate to toss plants if they are still alive. Is it a photo period? If so, you can veg it as long as it needs to get it back to health. That said, you can drop a couple more beans and they could pass that one up.

Chose either coco or compost.........they are 2 different animals with different pH requirements and different watering/feeding requirements.
Considering the plant is 6 weeks old, personally I would start over
Good luck.

Photo period; plants that flower in response to amount of light exposure as opposed to Auto flowers which flower at a set time regardless.

Beans; slang for seed.

It looks too dry to me, also peat can be pretty acidic to start with.. I usually give it a good buffering before use. Feed em up and persevere. Best of luck
