Best LED grow lights?

Ok so I've grown with HIDs in the past, but I've seen an increasing number of really quality LED grow journals here.

whats a good online retailer to buy high quality LED grow lights with some decent pricing. Money is not an issue but I don't want to be buying from a retailer that's charging $500 for a $300 unit. I'm looking for the absolute highest lumen output I can get my hands on, but I don't really know who's who in the LED retail world.

Any help is much appreciated. (Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to google to do some more investigating of my own)

Edit: I found the Illuminator pro 350 watt, has anyone had good experience with these, and are there any retailers that charge less than this $1,000 price tag on prosource?

dam for 1400 dollors i could build a fucin 20 by 20 room with all the bells for that amont of cash
Clearly, you live in candy land. For $1400 you could barely furnish a 8x6 with all the "bells" assuming you're referring to humidity control, lights, fans, hydroponic/soil grow materials depending on your preference, timers, pH/EC meters, pots or flood tables, ballasts, ventilation, and ducting.

Also, if you can afford a building with a 20x20 room in it, $1400 isn't shit. Even if that room has 10 ft ceilings, you'd drop more than $1400 just on exhaust fans and ducting to circulate 4,000cuft of air.

Scrap the LED thought process. Those things are junk....Companies come out with all this new bullshit just to come out with something new...90% of the time their junk with high price tag. Get yourself a quality 1000 watter with a good bulb and with the money you saved by some more seeds................

there you go..remote with reflector and bulb

but i recommend this bulb:

and here's why:

and some more why:

I recommend more 400 cmh's as need for your space....is better to have more points of light that one or two ... the 400's provide penetration lacking in non hid lights and run cooler than the larger wattages and the cmh bulbs have the best spectrum as well as many other advantages including heat and uvb

And here's some awesomely priced grow setups which you could modify to your specific purposes...so not as much as one may believe...yes it takes some money but if you look and think it won't really be as high as you are stating

And for meters and solutions best deals around:

hope it helps

Thanks for the help illumination. Good sources too.

And thanks BloomBrothers for proving that no matter how many times someone says they don't want a standard HID light, someone will always suggest one.

honestly if you have the money for the led give it a try and compare it to the same wattage hid see what benefits you in up front cost, harvest wieght and faster growth..
Take a look at irish boy led grows pretty impressive but i dont see myself paying no damn 1400 for something 1000 watts or under when i can get 1 1000 watt+cooltube+canfan+filter and still have 900 dollars to spend on other shit..Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I was all on board, but after looking at CMH vs LED theres really no reason to go with LED. CMH isnt AS efficient or low upkeep cost as LEDs but they're a hell of a lot better than standard HIDs from what I've read, and you only need 1 bulb for veg and flower. Ill wait a little longer on LED technology to mature and come down in price.

that and for them to improve the tech as well as price is exactly where I am doing myself.... That's why I try to provide what people ask along with what I have found so they can make a real choice based on reality rather than hype....too much hype u have to dig for the truth

Once leds price drop way down then i can see more people using it but to get a 600 watt led is 1000+ for a good one no way will you catch me spending that loot on one light. For that price it better give me 5 pounds a plant.

Lol yeah the prices are kinda ridiculous at the moment. There are some huge advantages that almost all of the light emitted is usable by the plant for photo but with HIDs alot of energy is wasted in heat and unusable light. The prices still highly outweigh the advantages at this moment though.

Alright, check out blackstar LED on ebay. I own two of them, they work really well and their prices are great.
If you have like half a year to read a long thread PACKED with great grows, great info, great LEDs
https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/240615-led-users-unite.html

I have used them in conjunction with HID (grow room is too cool to leave just the LED's on, the HIDs act as heaters, but I still get the light) and have noticed a great improvement in the quality of the bud, LEDs are great to grow with, its a bit of an initial investment, but pays off real quick.

If you have any questions let me know, or post it in that thread up there.

I have a 270w Enhanced Spectrum Supernova LED. I am about to harvest my second grow this week. I am a rookie grower have never used MH/HPS my situation wont allow that at the moment to much heat. I am totally satisfied with my light! My first grow was 2 Onyx autos and 1 Easyryder auto. I yielded 5.2 oz. dry. I have 5 autos going in my cabinet right now, and they are beautiful! One day soon I will be in a room instead of my cabinet and I may utilize traditional lighting but for now my LED works killa for me! It was $1200 but im cool with that I saved and sold my double bass Tama drumset to help finance my medicine cabinet. No regrets as far as im concerned this next harvest will put me totally in the black as far as start up costs go.

I could never part with my drums for a light it brings tears to my eyes to even think of doing that. Nothing better than blazin up and jammin with some friends or just playin along to some Enter Shikari

Trust me it was hard to do, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do! One day I 'll rock the kit again! Until then I am learning and trying to perfect my new hobby of growing my own medicine. I used to get BBBaked and jam for an hour or so playing along to TooL, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth to name a few of my fave bands to drum to.

Dude enter shikari is like the perfect stoner jam for people into hardcore music its got some crazy break downs but it's electronicy and happy sounding its eargasmic. Emarosa and some fuckin BFMV love that shit too.
Just don't look at Enter shikaris new shit. Its awful. Take to the skies album is the amazing

TOOL is da shit
