Best LED comparable to 1000W HPS

The third price ones claim a lot of shit gavita doesn't, maybe they need to work on that if they can compare with a 1700e on more than price.

2100 on a De, that's not the figures hlg use to sell led equivalent, don't even think they use the se figure and go below.

Gavita @ 1930 and 780w still isn't 2100. Gavita do say average se HP's so can't fault the wording. There 1700 is a good 600w equivalent but they use that wattage.

Lots of discrepancy.
The Gavita 1000w de is 1751umol after the reflector loss (bare bulb is 2100), So HLG is right, their Diablo 650 is indeed a 1000w de replacment, I think you own them an apology..

Did you read the thread, I owe no led company that has trolled bad figures anything. No one agrees a Hlg outgrows a De 1000w, too many are saying it.

If anything Hlg owe us an apology after gavita stepped in with different figures and we all now know Hlg twisted everything to gain sales and hurt hid markets.

It will take a cleverer member than me to work out reflector loss, most rate well over 90%, I cannot support or verify your figure. Others are running open and parabolics the like of which led has yet to really compete against. In a tent hps destroyed the 650 on par, without LEDs don't spread much the figures of HP's were less but still much better.

But none of this means much, most now agree a led needs 800w to rival a 1000w HPS, take that up with gavita not me, I also wanted to know how much light past par led producers were measuring, some craftily add their pbar pbfd numbers and I don't see hps doing the same.

LEDs have always had a chance to be truthfull and fit in, sorry they decided on the other path and we're all just working out the truth now, 8 year thread still going strong.

Also if I wanted to beat a 1000w double end hps I would produce a true 1000w led and then do lots a side by side.

Easy to say I just out grew a 1000w and show the power of LEDs over hid, as your still using 600w and talking rubbish I guess you have something to hide because that would be easy to prove and have everyone agree.

I think gavita did this and didn't want to go the same path as Hlg and look bad.

You’re not that bright are ya? The reflector material is over 90% that much is correct.. that’s each time the light is redirected however, the gavita with the hr96 reflector is 1750 uMole, the bare bulb is 2100 uMole. The diablo 650 is 1770 uMole. Your brain is 0 uMole.

And the gavita 1700e is better than the diablo yet is not a 1000w replacement by gavita.

The fucking numbers are covered in this thread, Hlg and gavita need to decide wtf is right or wrong.

1000w replacement, bro the led makers can't even agree with themselves, quit trolling.

"How big of a space is that and how much are you projected to pull"........

My first crop with 2 Gavita's I pulled 106 oz......... each LED was placed over a 4 x 4 sq. ft area. Results speaks a lot louder than any manufacturer claim or guys arguing this or that is better. I was an HPS grower for 30+ years and I'm producing a lot more now in less space and alot less electricity.

And you could have been producing more if you just used the same amount of electricity with LEDs.

Thanks for telling us you saved money, I'd have opted for more yeilds with that.

Spider Farmer has some amazing lights for the price. Their SF 4000 model does a 5x5 and Im using their sf2000 since I have just a small 2x4 tent and im pulling massive buds and great harvest.

Don't not add the numbers, wattage/SF, efficiency umol/. Is that just par range or pbfd added too.

Sf4000 in a 5x5, is this true or marketing so you can get a new led on sponsor?

You must have me confused with someone else.. and 60 would be too much
No LEDs are yet touching the too much light bracket. Why go for a saving not beef out your yield.

Maybe a Hlg is easier for you to use over a higher wattage where getting it right will be a little harder.

My only point in this is Hlg type led Vs gavita type LEDs, big difference in wattage and saving.
