Best layout for my grow tent, also question about temp and humidity.

I just ordered a grow tent to replace the plywood box that I have been using. It is this one here:

It measures out to about 5x5xx6.5 whereas currently my homebuilt box is 4x4x6, I have between 6-8 (Depends whether male/female, 2 arent feminized) 2 week old plants that i'm going to be putting in the new setup once it comes and this is all under a hortilux 430 and about 100 watts of CFL's.

My question is am I wasting space, should I germinate a few more seeds for this grow? Also as far as height, should I be topping them, or will they not grow up into the light with this much space? Will I get a better use of space if I top them to spread them out since there are so few plants in such a big space? I'm planning on vegging them for just under a month, 6 of them are Aurora Indica and 2 are some unknown indica bagseed.

I know the tent is a little big for my light setup but i'm planning on getting a bigger light in the near future like a 600 or a 1000 so I didn't want a tent that i'd outgrow.

With all of the new grow room toys that I have now bought I have pretty much exact control over temperature and humidity. Currently I have been running about 75f during lights on and about 68-70 during lights off with humidity varying between 50%-55%. I just bought a dehumidifier to keep that in control so i might be able to keep it even lower, I live in a house with a really moldy wet basement so i'd imagine I have a lot of mold spores floating about the whole house, don't want them deciding to start propagating in the grow room.
