The thing about Kush is that it's become just a name. Hindu Kush is a region that spans multiple countries. Afghan Kush, Hindu Kush, Pakistani Chitral Kush. All from that region. Many of today's Kush strains are hybrids. Not that they aren't good but not really a true Kush.

Not sure I recall garlic, but each pheno was different. I have this shot of 5 different ones definitely stinky/stanky. Se had a misty sandalwood smell. One was very dark purple/silver.Very terpy, oily. all different colors red green etc. and highs. Same flower time though. Had one that was citrus/grapefruit and a little fluffy but was the most different from the rest. Which were dense and kush like.

Also, it was a good yield....but that differed by plant. I still have a couple beans. They were pretty stretch and most were not really indica dom....there was a lot of sativa. The citrus one was very sativa

Agreed i hate when people misuse the name too its a kush hybrid imo if its not straight from there

This is true, ESPECIALLY as it pertains to "OGers" coming out of Florida. Someone said the buds look like they have little kushberries (likely referring to swollen calyces) & the name stuck.

These days most people are referring to OG when they’re talking about kush. Probably doesn’t even have any kush in it :rolleyes:

OG Kush lol that’s what it went by. It was $10 a gram and only found it at a dispo that was out of the way. Spicy/pepper smell and spicy taste, really great high.

Unlike yours My yields were not good on this plant, Small very very dense golf ball nugs on a very tall plant. No purpling. But I didnt have many phenos like you, just 1 freebie. With that disgusting fuel musty garlic and onion smell, the buds were very greasy nasty smelling funk. This had to be some kind of one off. I grew every critical they have that grow and grew about 2 dozen of their kush after getting that one pheno and got nothing like it.

these were all normal yielding. sry, pic quality isn't that good. looking for my pic of the high yielder....that was the only one that didn't stretch and gew in afghani looking cone shape. these were grown with blurple...a few years back.

The OG kush in BC around 04 with the distinct crinkle in middle of the fan leaf leaflet. The high wrapped around the head and gave a nice cool sweat on the forehead. Then when the prices tanked, the growing focus went to the purple kush, it’s ease of cloning, nice grape musk, big chunks, hardy frame with easy strip properties with great high overtook. So wish I had that OG back.

I have an LA Pure Kush just in flower... stinky/skunky, real lanky plant so far. Also have a Holy Grail Kush, very little smell to it, clean, even growing indica plant..

Looks like a sativa dom to me. Long, thin leaves that warp and curl. It's Hazeman produced, I think it's the real deal. 45 days seems like about half the time just looking at it... we shall see...

Where did you get your pre 98 Bubba seeds? Did the plants have the coffee smells?
