Best Bud Growing Tips

I have 5 plants growing right now. They're in cups and have just broke through the surface. They're about 1 inch and growing! I only have a 60 WATT bulb with a metal reflector on it and I water it often. I just need some tips for the most crystally, fluffy, luscious buds. Nutrients, lighting, anything that will make them flourish. Thanks

A list of tips could be endless, but the first thing that pops out to me is that you want to grow "the most crystally, fluffy, luscious buds," but you are growing under a 60w (I assume) CFL. The expectation and the equipment you currently are using are not compatible in my mind. At some point in veg, probably sooner than later, you will find you will either need way more CFL's, or a new technology like hid/led.

60 watts will not produce "crystally, fluffly luscious buds". What it will produce is frustration and disappointment.

I would start doing alot of reading. Riddlemes Calling all noobs thread is a great place to start.

It's all good I have a 120 watt bulb now and i am going to buy a 400 watt bulb very soon! what special nutrients should i get for em?

There are so many ways to answer your questions but the most helpful thing I can say is to read all the noob stickies and learn to use the search function (Search titles only is more helpful). It is not going to help you if we recommend a brand of fert that you cannot get or is only available in another country without shipping!

Some popular brands are Botanicare / H&G (house and garden) / GN (General Hydroponics) / etc etc

Hahaha thanks from all. One more question, what size watt bulb should I get to make the vegetation process a lot faster, and to make the plant big?

#1 get some good genetics #2get a good sized pot..3-5gallons..#3 get a good light 400-1000w mh or hps..#4good nutrients with all the additives..#5 a uvb bulb hovering over ur plant may help increase thc levels..and #6 some good old TLC should do the trick..then when u harvest make sure u dry and cure it right and it should be some good stuff

1000 watt bulb

if ur growing one plant dont use 1000w just get a 400w..1000w would be over kill especially if you dont really know how to grow yet, and ur electricity bill would cost alot more.

What's a uvb? and any specific nutrients I should add?

UVB is an Ultra Violet Bulb-u cant grow a plant with it but u add it with ur main lighting source..it has rays in it that normal MH or HPS lights dont have..its known to make ur plant form more thc, the thc is like a sunscreen for the buds

Then I will definately be getting one of those!
