You can get Bubba S1s from Founding fathers seeds (there available now). Maybe get lucky and find a better pheno than the original. Caleb of CSI said on the pot cast, that he's often found better phenos in the S1s than the original mothers he S1ed. His chems, D and 91, his TK. His Urkle and Mendo purps.

No way the guy who sells the s1 seeds says his s1 seeds are better than the original, how convenient for his wallet...lol
If that's the case I guess he replaced all those cuts the D, 91 and TK with the better ones he found in his s1 because they are better....oh wait he didn't, why keep the originals if they are inferior?
Sorry not trolling you, just find it funny the guy who makes the s1 of the legendary strains claims he finds better ones than the legends themselves. Seems a little self serving if you ask me.
Now if a bunch of non biased good growers that aren't going to gain financially from it start saying that I might be more receptive

Dookiefarms2 on Instagram has the original bubba cut. I'm not sure if he's currently selling it or not but he's easy to reach out to. I'm on my second run with it now and have kept a mother of it as I just can't quit it for the incredible flavors. I'm going to keep it a little longer probably even though I don't have the space, it's just too good to get rid of for now. This run got pretty bad light bleaching from a new light as I learned to dial it in but the buds are looking good despite me.

It hasn't been growing like it which I attributed to the crazy high ppfd I ran at the beginning of flower but there's a tiny chance I mixed up clones when I was getting them ready to flower. It has the soapy smell but the leaf structure is a good bit different. Here's the mother where you can see the bubba structure really clearly. Sorry about the blurple pic, my veg tent is at a buddies house because of our plant count law. The only other strain it could be is OG Kush from seeds I had from a buddy or Motorbreath 15 which I know it's not. I had never grown out OG Kush from seeds but I don't think it would have these cola type buds. I could be wrong though. The first run with the bubba kush clone had much wider leaves and darker but I bleached these pretty bad before I realized how high the ppfd was with the new light. I'll know for sure once it's down and I can really smell it and smoke it. If it's not bubba then I'll take a cut off mom because I really like having it around.

The pre-98 has sort of flat topped buds with spiky calyxes and it gets a decent amount of color on the leaves.

This is what it looked like the first run with it. I tried using a blurple light with heavy UV and ended up frying it badly. That's one of the reasons I'm having a hard time with the ID this time. I ran this Cultiuanna light at like 1280 ppfd before I figured out that's how high it was and the bubba kush, or what I've been calling bubba kush, took it the worst.

That second pic looks a lot more like it, I’d be very surprised if the two pics were the same strain.

I took a good look at the one in flower before lights out tonight and it's not the same strain for sure. The branching structure is different even, not sure how I missed it but I just went with the label I had I guess. It looks like the OG Kush pics I could find online. I've been so focused on the frosty Steve Lemme OG pheno and watching it for mold and any herm issues I was just watching the OG Kush grow. Thanks for catching it, now I have a chance to reveg it and keep it for a while. I thought it was gone.

Cutthroat genetics has a bubba bx at soaknbeans, it’s Katsu x Katsu bx. Half price last day. I always thought it was better than the pre98. I have to laugh, 10 yrs ago folks got tired of bubba more or less, kinda like the Chernobyl but the youngsters have made a resurgence of them. 08-15 nobody was talking bubba like they do now
