I have some decent strains going now but ready to revamp. looking for a kush cross that is vigorous and is structurally sound that also likes to be trained. yield is important of course as well.

The clone only versions that I've grown aren't high yield.
That's the only thing they lack though...

Reserva Privada/DNA if you want Fem.
GGG/Bodhi would be my recommendations for reg.
You could try Caliconnect/Archive.

I smoked some Grimace OG that reminded me of Urkle but stronger.

Picture 024.jpg you might want to look into reserva privada-dna stuff such as cannalope kush ,kosher tangie or perhaps skywalker [which im growing now] im sure there is better to be had but these are readdily available, feminized & perform pretty well the pic is my current skywalker grow im also looking at their strawberry-bananna but probably gonna do pic-n-mix for cannalope kush & maybe their lemon og i beleive the s/w is gonna yield for me

PeakSeedsBC claims to have a "pure" female clone of Kush. They bred it with different males like Skunk and Afghani.

I really enjoyed my PeakseedsBC Kush x Blueberry. Smelled like Kush and Blueberries at the exact same time. Potent, easy to grow, nice stone if you like mellower buzzes. Good vigor. Still kind of amazed by how it smelled, unfortunately it was lost with some other clones when I got ill. But I only had one plant and it was quite good.

I've heard others say they ran the Kush x Skunk (which I have seeds of and am tempted to run) and it was some of the most potent they've ever had. His Sweet Skunk is extremely strong smoke. I'm pretty interested in this cross.

Structurally his Kush Blueberry was awesome. His Skunk x Kush might be even better. His Sweet Skunk was clearly bred to be used in hybrids as well as being strong. It has good branching, internodes are spaced quite large - but the Kush is the opposite. It would be a great plant structurally I'd bet.

yeah it seems dna/reserva privada have some good stuff out. thinking about the hgkush or the skywalker. going to have to make sure to get enough of each to get a good pheno.

What the fuk is kush? Please be more specific.

Og kush or what some people call kush is completely opposite of real kush which some people call kush.

All the answers above are a mix and match of both.

From the sounds of it you want good structure and good yeild, you better cross of anything og.

OG's never have what I'd call good yield + aren't the best structure.
My favorite bud to smoke though...

Holy Grail. It is the one and only kush that matters.

Eh if the holy grail is from DNA, I beg to differ, was disappointed with the three beans I had. Not a large sample but nothing I'd keep

really..thats dissapointing. well maybe i will stay away from kush dominant strains..ive always like afghani mixed strains..but there is so much out now after being out of growing for a couple years its hard to keep up. so ill be more specific on what i want. something that isnt your everyday bud, something that makes you excited to pack the bowl with, indica dominant basically for structure, flowering time, and yield. i want something that is vigorous and responds well to training. i guess what im looking for is somebodys experience with a strain or strains from a certain brand.......thanks to all

afghani's closer to real kush tho not always as landrace kush comes from the hindu-kush mountain range

as was mentioned og kush or cali ksuh is much futher from its indica landrace kush relative

anyone find dna/rp's og variations a little touchy with the nutes or just me? seems in veg all my other strains handle the nutes well the kush always burns at least a touch whenever I add anything other than plain water lol

in flower though they take off so im not complaining

RP/DNA seem to be very touchy and finicky, that's from my experience with all of the S1 and female crosses. I think it's a universal consensus

allot of balls on their fems to(seems to be getting worse with them) Not one skywalker, out of a single pack, made it past 3 weeks of flower because of balls. Out of a single pack of the holy grail: 2 of em had balls, which left me with a few super stretchy phenos to choose from, but the one i kept(kosher pheno) is fire with decent yield. just about the same with Kosher. i sware to god, i've had way better luck with swerves gear, and i run through shit tons of beans, pheno hunting. anyways, good luck all
