Ok its about 13.30 to 13mins 40 seconds in to the potcast ep he talks about the first version being an auto and also being called the kind straight from djs mouth case you didnt catch it lol
I listened through.. like most modern DJ interviews sometimes it sounds like he's just making things up that he didn't document or doesn't remember, sometimes it sounds like he's re-writing history and other times like he just doesn't know what he's talking about, sad to hear honestly.. I remember now wishing I never heard that podcast after listening to it the first time, he really fell several rungs down the ladder with the way it came across to me

he should let the rest of the world know how he was keeping clones of his 'auto' and how it changed it from auto to non-auto and how it was auto with no auto flowering genetics in it.. I'm sure he was seeing it 'auto'flower due to being root bound and left for too long in the same pot and is just calling it auto but not describing the scenario

I suspect it isnt cos of that it but it could be of course i reckon it was probably just a very photo sensitive plant a semi auto i find many off the older guys dont make much distinction between semis and proper day neutral plants and just lump em together as just "autos" plus you can keep cuts of those providing you got root space and the right light hours that make more sense to me where those genes came from in blueberry idk my guess would be Mexican the one he used in blueberry to make the purple thai could easily have some ruderalis hiding in its genepool as i know mexico does have ruderal stuff there obviously this is just pure conjecture i guess we might never know

yeah he's somewhat of an enigma. I've seen him write pages and pages on breeding and genetics, and he sure sounds like he knows what he's talking about, but somehow hasn't bred anything new/better in 20 years than his initial release of BB. Strange.

sometimes I really think it was a case of fake it until you make it and then hold on for dear life.. I think it's why he's not much more visible in the scene like some breeders, but rather still very quite imo

nobody even trades clones of his work which really should tell people something..

not trying to shit talk the man I mean I have followed him for years but the more I look and listen the less I like what I see/hear

Not a blueberry, but the 2016 Ceres Fruity Thai I grew was as tasty as any blueberry I've had. Phenomenal actually. Sorry if this is thread crap.

More apologies for thread crap, but it would be remiss of me not to include the crusty and dazzling Blue Nerdz Auto by TerpTreez. Probably more of a blackberry come to think of it.

I'm reading along with interest here. I have some Blueberry Auto seeds from @CoastalMarySeeds that I'm planning on growing next round (next year). If it's anything like their Strawberry Cheesecake Auto, which does have a strong Strawberry smell, and the sour lemon which I'm currently growing, I'd expect a fairly good blueberry profile in it.
