Best autoflower for me?

I'm trying to figure out which AF strain to choose from on Attitude.

I'm hardpressed between Lowlife Ak47 x Auto Hindu Kush and Lowryder Easy Ryder AKA Lowryder #2 x AK47.

My number 1 choice is Easy Ryder hands down BUT (and theres always a but) they only sell it feminized. I dont want to spend the extra €€ on just feminized seeds, I mean why would they feminize autoflowers, doesnt make any sense whatsoever, they tell you not to crop, chop it or clone it but sell 3 and 5 feminized seeds...like wtf mate!? How are you supposed to get more? To me, it's pretty screwed up to spend the extra money on "feminized" seeds to hope for a male...

What is the big secret with feminizing seeds anyway? No one I've asked seems to know how it's done, all I hear is uneducated theories like "They say if you put seeds in a baggie with a banana skin, the potasium feminizes the seeds." First off, who is "they"? And second, why pay so much more for something thats completley useless to a grower? I need to, like, make seeds...can't do that with all females!

Why is it so hard to just get a female from bagseed and a male from only feminized seeds, why does the cosmos always have to be agaisnt me?

Dude you want to be growing females to get bud. Males are just hemp.

Lovin the trailor park boys lol. Speaking of hemp, all the "weed" you see the show/movies was just industrial hemp :/ lol

Anyway, youre right. But, I dont want males, I need at least one to make more seed cause theyre autoflowers. The breeder says not to clone them so I wont clone them. Attitude only sells 3 and 5 seed feminized. I want to buy some Easy Ryder and produce seeds, but what's the chance of getting a male with feminized seeds? You know what I mean?

I dont know how that helps exactly, cool site buts its way more on that site than attitude and it still only sells 3 and 5 feminized seeds too! I dont want feminized, I want like 10 regular assed Easy Ryder seeds with a 50/50 chance of fems not like 90/10% that means I'd have to spend like $120 or €87 to get 10 fem....UGH

yeh i will do.its always interesting keeping a eye on other peoples grows.hope it goes well for ya.
i love watching those little seedlings turn into beautiful ladies.the only part i dont enjoy is the trimming afterwards.kills my hand.

I'm misguided by wanting to keep an autoflowering garden to perpetual harvest every month? What do you suggest?

OK, I'll tell you.
In the old days a female was left in flower well past it's maturity until it eventually produced a hermaphrodite flower. This "male" flower with female genes pollen was used to produce seeds.
Treating the females with the hormone Giberlin (sp?) will do the same trick.
The latest technique is to use emulsified silver to induce the hermaphrodite flower.
If MJ didn't have male & female flowers it would be infinetly more difficult for plant breeding and we wouldn't have the tens of thousands of strains to pick through, nor the high potency.

Oh ok, that makes sense. That's about word for word what I was just reading on CannabisCulture. This just makes the decision making harder because I want to try an autoflowering strain but I dont want hermies. Gotta have something with a short flowering time. I've read a lot of Easy Ryder journals and I really want to try that. They only sell them fem'd so now I'm worried I might not even get a male in a 3 or 5 seed stock. Some of the journals I've read, the people only got females and just moved on to another strain after harvest. So yeah, maybe I'll just do another bagseed grow or something cheap like Poison Dwarf

There's regular easyrider out there you need to look a bit more.
feminized seeds will produce 100 % females you'll never get a male with them.

Well I chose to do a bagseed run again and see how it goes. the bud i got it from has always been very good but you never know with bagseeds...

Oh I see what you mean now! Sorry I misinterpreted what you were asking. You might want to try www.marijuana-seeds-canada.com/ for single regular seeds if you are canadian but I dont think they ship to the states. But they do have non fem. autoflowering seeds such as lowryder #2.
