I was going to buy a bud box but now thinking gorilla grow tent.
Sturdy. Tight seams.

Dark Room Pro
Gorilla Grow Tent
The biggest part to think about.. I shit you not, is the god damned zipper. Think about how useless that whole tent becomes when the zipper fucks all, and shits out on you?
I chose iPower, because I read many reviews that the zipper is of high quality and I can tell you so far I think the thing will last me years.
I know your right about the zipper. Read this everywhere.
So far I’m leaning towards gorilla grow tent but the price is putting me off
Just remember.. saving money now (buying cheap), usually means spending more later (buying right).
Do it right the first time
If you want to save money and get best results, diy with rigid foam board. Excellent results
I disagree when it comes to the tents I have bought a few off Amazon cheap 100 dollar ones 4x4s and 4x8s they did the job just fine sturdy frames. Make sure you get the ones with push buttons to lock the poles together. I bought a 4x8 gorilla tent off Craigslist and it did the same thing the others did.
6 or 7 years ago I bought a 4x8 light house tent. I do dwc and I am in and out of the tent every day. No zipper issues. Once a year I rub bar soap on all of the zippers. Truly amazed at the longevity of this tent.
why do you rub soap bar on the zippers?
Lubrication, zippers work effortlessly
I'm satisfied with the Vivosun 48" x 48" x 80 tent I have. It's quite sturdy, has plenty of openings, and the zipper is heavy duty. I will start rubbing soap on mine just to keep it in good shape.
lol.. Im not saying what you think, at all. $100 tents are not the cheapest, by far.. the really cheap ones that are far less than $100, would be a bad buy though, and you can clearly see by their reviews. That is what I mean.. by do it right the first time. The OP was saying, that the price was putting him off.. Im saying screw the price, when it comes to getting something right the first time. Not that you always have to spend a lot of money to do something right.
How anyone could disagree with that, is on them.. but hopefully you more clearly understand my point now?
Gorilla Grow Tent £350-£400
Budbox Pro £140-180
Secret Jardin £140-£150
If I cant get the Gorilla Grow Tent going to get Budbox Pro but not sure to get white or silver.
Going to be looking for a budbox.. anyone have any reviews on it?
Look for vivosun i have a 4x4 and as noted above its a good tent, not the best but for the price its a great product and I really like it..
Not familiar with most of those but bought a black orchid for a good price few years ago and was very happy. The quality was excellent. Much better than the ones I use who's brand I have no idea, although they were perfectly good enough for me and held up to lots of weight. The black orchid was nicer all round.
I would say 90% of the list are made in the same factory or in the factory next door and branded for the reseller in china.
I had a secret jardin tent and it didn't make it 2 years. Bought a GGT in the spring, and I"m super impressed with the fit and finish. very very few light leaks (only at the zippers which is expected, but they plan for that with flaps and stuff), the corners are all reinvforced, and the reflective pattern seems to be doing its job well. Great number of ports and such for whatever configuration you want.
I think it's well worth the price.
If you see the attached images this is how the tents are rated but I’m a bit sceptical...
From all my research the choice is either
Gorilla Grow Tent
Bud Box Pro XL White
