Benefits of watering in the morning??

I understand that the best time to water your plants is in
the first hours of the light cycle - can someone please explain me why?

Just my thought maybe when we water when lights turn in it gives the plants time to absorb water and soil dry a bit more...honestly I have no clue and am.interested
