I have tried a good few different beneficial's and tea's in RDWC (roots in water) and as far as root rot goes they didn't help much but that was just my personal experience.

I now run 60/40 coco clay in 20 litre pots top feed 2 x per day for 15 minutes each time and recirculate my nutrients 24/7 throughout the system.

As far as beneficial's go I use Microbe Life- photosynthesis plus. I don't add it to the rez as I don't think it lives long in there but I do add it weekly hand fed directly to the coco pots just in plain ph'd water. When I do a change out I wait for 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate before I drench the pots. Saves a ton of money on microbes but is it working who knows, the plants seem to look much better after drenching and no root rot.

Ive looked into Photosynthesis plus but the thing that made me not even try it is that I have a 70 Gal reservoir and according to its directions.... I would need around 800mL initial feed then 400mL after that.

Too diluted for me. Paying for water

I brewed up a tea with that recipe you read about everywhere. Fungi, bacteria, ewc castings....bubble 48hrs ect...
For like 35-50 bucks in materials and a little effort, it will last you a long time. For my 20 gallon rdwc I would use 100ml of this tea every few days. Maybe a cup or two of it when I first started the system up for good measure.
I have seen it power through slime and everything come out clean at the end of the grow.

i use microbelife phoyosynthesis plus and get great results. Really keeps the roots clean and productive. Only smells from the container and doesnt leave any kind of residue
beautiful roots. everyone always says good things about photosynthesis plus.

it says on the directions online pour 60ml for every 5gal. if i have a 70 gal reservoir.....i gotta pour in 840ml of this stuff according to the directions? seems pretty diluted.

I use 3½ gallon dwc buckets so i would have no idea. Im pretty sure they sell 5 gallon sizes so possibly. But its probably worth it. Great foliar spray too

I use GW for my aeroponic clones, I tried to use it in my main res and noticed no difference in any aspect of growing. But I did notice negatives ..... I run sterile and am happy

Beautiful roots PAP. As mentioned I use 20 litre 6/40 coco pots and just top feed directly once a week, I don't have any roots in the rez so it doesn't work out to bad cost wise but filling a large volume rez would be expensive. I do squirt 100ml into the rez (200 litre) occasionally not sure if that does anything. I start it when they are young to try and build up a herd.

I don't know if Microbelife water it down, maybe that's just how it comes out of the vats or whatever.

Anyone tried making a tea with Photosynthesis ??

Recharge in hydro? u dump into res or buckets?

I did some research and they recommended not to use in res....might get too messy. but if ur dumping into the res...i might give it a go.

Nah,I don't put it into my res.I make up 1 tsp per gallon jugs and give each plant half a solo cups worth to the root crown.
