Anybody ever have to bend the plant because it was growing too fast?
this thing is flowering and frickin wont stop growing so i had to put a string on it to keep it away from the light 400 watt hps.
just wanted to make sure i'm not breaking any cardinal rules. that might kill the girl.
they are the plants 7 weeks into flowering. ebb & flow 1400 ppm 5.8 ph
using dynagro Bloom WHEN SHOULD THEY START SHOWING SIGNS OF BROWNING PISTOLS??????

VEGETATION ROOM: My plants havent started turning brown yet (pistols ) so I was forced to start thes veg room plants to start flowering with the flouro's on 12/12 and then when the others are done ill move them over to the hps light. weeks three in aeroponics and thes are between 9 " and 12" already.
I cant let them get much bigger or they wont flower right.

Ive bent my plants on both my grows had awesome results and wont do it another way. Its an awesome way to make the canopy of your plants the same level and all the bud sites at the top of the plant ( it lets the bottom branches catch up easier) So ya TIE EM DOWN!

Also you can count on about 7.5-10 weeks before your buds are done.

Yeah, I agree with Air wholeheartedly, take a look at my grow journal and see the canopy - through bending it's become a bit of a SCROG... accidents can be good!

No mate, if it's the only way for you to keep them a safe distance from the light then it's by far the best way. As I said, take a look at my grow journal (in my signature), I explain how I did it in there

They will stop growing at about 5 weeks so in between 0-2 weeks flower would be perfect, I start tying mine down once the light needs raised after they have been on 12/12
