I like that. So, I got another question? I have done no Pruning at all so far to my bushes and I think I need to! It's just mad bushy, 5-6 node cuttings reaching from mids of th main branches..... Should I cut or let grow....? I was thinking trim down, to focus main growth to the big branches that have split.... there's a 3 way path on each....? what do you guys think?

.......if your talking about the ones you have in 12/12, only in an emergency would I do any pruning....so, imo, consider the risks before you go hacking away at her. It may stress them out causing them to turn on you(hermie), or 'parts' of them; also, from my own experience I know you put the plant back a good 5-10 days. Thats a good part of the reason it's good to get to know the strain(s) you are growing and learn what works best for it. The SS I was telling you about is one that can take any kind of abuse as far as hacking on it, right up to harvest, for example. The only time I got it turn hermie(and I mean just a few seeds) was when I messed up its' light cycle. The other time was when it got the bananas I had to pluck from going a bit too long----but came to figure out it was from nuting way heavily too long......
But I guess what I am trying to say is that each strain has its' limits...... As a rule, you dont want to be stressing the plant in flower. If your going to prune, for whatever reason, do it at least a week before 12/12 if you can---the earlier the better. I pretty much start any heavy pruning right shortly after they root(but I dont veg much).
And there are more opinions out there than there are strains. With those two components in the same sentence, diffin't thangs wook fo diffint foke......
But anyway.......get a pic up mange......

IMO, leave them alone!
argh shit.... i pruned the shizz out of them... I noticed There was alot of new growth generating and I stopped it. Just clipped away. Leaving the main 4 branches all thicker then a dime... I didn't mess with the big girl inn the back for she is turned to white hairs everywhere already... but the two that were two weeks behind. I trimmed the shizz outta them. Leaving all fan leaves and just taking the starts or branches that were gonna hold on to buds... I'm thinking that I might have caused a ton of stress. I hope they Don't go Hermie on me!!!! ahhhh

yo whats cracka lackin? update of the beauty's. I could easily see how you could run six plants out of my box, instead of 3... Seriously creative Pruning and L.s.d. After I clipped the front two of the inner branches leaving just the 4 main stem colas. The regeneration and redistribution of growth hormones worked, as more white hairs sprout and swelling of buds.It thinned out big time, allowing room for more babies to mature maybe... here she is!
p.s I Got a Problem developing. deficiency ? Nitrogen or Epson Salt 1/2 teaspoon. rht? for the yellowing dying leaves....? always from the bottom and never the top leaves. they look as if the green life was sucked from them, they wilt, ten I pluck... almost daily, I bet It's those cheaper Nutes I went w/... the garden shops own name brand..... And why are just some of my Stems Pink? actually almost a light maroon. idk wtf?

I think the bottom leaves are meant to start dying. Mine have too. Flowering nutes don't contain enough N. I don't think its nothing to worry about.
You plants look great. A hell of a lot more bud growth than mine have. Must be those HPS lights you got.
I've just finished pruning a few leaves and branches off too. Too much veg and not enough light getting to the flowers. I'll post pics on my journal tomorrow.

Yea dying lower leaves is quite normal man no need to get worried! Just make sure you get rid of them daily to prevent mold growth or bugs! Its looking great those buds should explode in growth in a week or two

Spliffious, I think I have already advised you on usage of epsom salts to counteract high Ca levels in tap water. If you are using tap water, you have to use the epsom salt EVERY time.
Don't mean to sound like I'm scolding you...
Anyway, if you are using tap water and you are still adding the epsom salt every time, you may be in need of a good bloom fertilizer with a high P and K rating.

yo diggity... i only use PH balanced 5.5 Distilled water only!!!! ever since day 1.. thanks for schooling me, cuz everything is kickin ass. Bud sites are exploding, I even uped the nutes ppm from 600-800.. I could go higher?

met up w/ an old homie... same dude i acquired WW seeds from... hooked it up w/ an 1/8th of bluberry and WW. The WW is the hairyier and Orangier or redder of the two... nice sweet essence... i love this shit.... PNW rulez......

Alright. You sent me here and I came and read pretty much the whole damn thing. There were like 3 times I wanted to reply to shit, but it was too far back, and wouldda wound up being redundant at this point, anyway.
I do have one piece of advice for future: if you can, grow from clones. I know maybe that's obvious, but...you always know they're female, if you get them from someone who's been grwoing them for awhile, they'll know the plant and be able to tell you about nute uptake, how they take pruning and whatnot, and though I don't remember you having any problems with it, if they're all clones from the same plant, then you will never have an issue with one plant requiring more nutes than another more sensitive one which gets burned while one starves. I've seen that happen growing in soil, and it's a pisser to have to mix up one batch of nutes for one plant or a couple plants, then another for the rest. Adding 3 different kinds of nutes with syringes (for measurement) and Grozyme, then pH testing and balancing afterwards sucks shit (I use GH nutes even in soil). But anyway, that's a tangent. You see my point I'm sure.
And I don't remember who said it, but another thing is that it really does take longer for plants started from seed to show sex. Of course this varries from strain to strain and idividual to individual, and from what I've seen usually the more sativa that's in a strain, the longer it takes to show sex because maturity is so much slower...with some exceptions like Stuporsonic (my faaaarite!) But whether or not you now know this, in the future don't waste your time looking for pistils at the top, in my opinion. I've also been confused by those spindly little tips of new leaves starting more than once, and think that looking there can just get your hopes up for nothing. I've always seen them show first at the base of main or secondary branches anywhere from 1/2 way up to the top before they show at budding or new growth sites. But admittedly I've only dealt with maybe 10 strains, so you can take that advice with a grain of salt I guess; I'm by no means an expert.
But anyway, I talk too damn much. It's lookin good, man. Hopefully post a progress report soon...?

Shit man, my bad... I get all these journals confused...
Anyway, if you're using distilled water, then definitely get yourself a bloom booster. 1 tsp/gallon of GH's Liquid Koolbloom will take care of those purple stems and give you an explosion of trichome growth.

I havent aquired the liquid kool bloom yet! but I will as soon As I get the Mula... I'm just flat out broke. and just got a new job.... woohooo and just in time. I took a peek at the babies today and they are swelling nicely, I accidentially up'ed the PPM to 1400, were previously it was at 600-800. I have also been doing constant LST, hooking the branches and pulling down to where they are pointing at a side wall and then causing the re-direction in growth as it opens the middle of my mashed together canopy

word of advice.... dont post on RIU... stater's and fed's can use it against U..they have nothing better to do, then having to protect there job, by busting normal stand-up educated individuals, and leaving the real criminals out there....... stop busting the MMJ patients. Go find a real criminal....... Sometimes I hate the States..... or just our fucked up Gov't!!!!!!!
