Beaumont Hospital no longer recognizes medical marijuana

I'm a patient of a Drs office that is set up through Beaumont Hospital that was using Medical Marijuana, I went to my Dr about a year and a half ago now and asked to be taken off of my pain meds for a while bcuz I knew my body needed a break after being on them for over 12yrs. I was put on a medication called Bunavail (same as Suboxone). The Dr and I had talked about my trying the Marijuana, it was working for me. I have severe back problems due to an injury I sustained while I was in the line of duty while working as a Fire Fighter and Medic for 12yrs. I also have Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and R.A.. at the beginning of this year (2018) I was told that Beaumont Hospital had sent around letters telling EVERY Drs office, pain clinic, hospital, etc. That anyone who gets ANY pain meds, including those that are on meds like the Bunavail/Suboxone have to be drug tested every month/visit. If you test positive for Marijuana you will be dropped from the Beaumont healthcare, and red flag you in the system.
I really feel as if they're infringing on our rights. It is legal here in Michigan to smoke. So I don't see how they feel they can just break our rights.

It is very strange that prescribing your friend marijuana for so many years, they considered it completely normal and did not see any side effects. Your friend felt good taking both painkillers and marijuana, then what has changed? What confidence can there be in the services of this clinic, if they can change the policy so abruptly contradicting themselves? For quite a long time, the medicinal properties of marijuana have been proven and its legal use in moderation is allowed. I can tell that I also have a marijuana card and my hospital https://www.iinsight.biz/ completely agrees with this kind of treatment and is absolutely not going to change it.
