Speaking of I need a brisket. First gotta clean up my egg, for some reason the idiot who set up the shoulder cook forgot to put in a drip pan so there was some dripping that needs cleaned for my next cook. I'm sure the dabs she was dabbing had nothing to do with it.
I smoked some ham with the prune wood I picked up. It is probably better to use it on beef, it has a strong flavor. It could also be that the fire was mostly wood because I had a small amount of charcoal left.

That makes sense. I've been cutting down on how much wood I use. I find the taste gets stronger as I get older which is opposite of what should happen. Oh well I've never been normal, why start now.
