Be careful when your taking pic with your smart phones

No big secret hackers been using GPS codec for years, every phone i get when it ask me "would you like google to allow your location to be visible" always click no. The scary part is you can look up active living child molesters in your area, and non tech savy parents have no clue what is going on with their or their kids phones.

it's fine as long as you don't use GPS or location settings....some apps on my phone have access but my camera app does not ;)

Somebody has a Facebook account as I've seen this video posted like 2xs already today..

Like said earlier.. why on earth would you leave your GPS on on your phone ?? Nobody needs to know where I am but me ..
Also, you can use a free program like Microsoft paint to remove any other existing exif data from pix before posting for some added security..

GPS is always off. I hate the fact its there. Still if the powers want to know where you are they can trace your phone without GPS. But I take comfort that they gotta be doing more important shit than tracing me for 8 plants.

Use cheap phones, or photo shop tool to edit pictures. OR video, and take stills off the computer, you could also use TOR to do all your activity from a weird IP every time you log in, so basically, no GPS locations, and not even an accurate IP address. The more preventative steps you make, the harder it is to pin point you.

Sorry, not overly tech savvy but always interested so excuse the ignorance, but what is TOR?

Tor is a web masking site with impossible customer service, it's complicated, slows your computer down, and sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. If it happens to work, it does what it says, but if not good luck trying to find help fixing it.

I use my iPad to take photos of my girls to put on here and one day I realized that this "cloud" thing, I guess, was causing them to appear on my iPhone photo stream. Which left to ponder on where else they might show up. hmmm

Basically a deep cover web browser mainly used to hide IP address information... Example, In order to get into the silk road drug marketplace, (its a .onion) website, in a thing called "darknet". you need to be on a browser like TOR, if you google TOR browser, and the silk road blah blah blah, you will find out everything.

This is why I root my phone and run custom, non authorized software. Even tho (luckily for me) my particular phone model has GPS problems. Tons of people returned them BC navigation doesn't work for shit. I kept mine.

Even still, if you have any type of smart phone and they are after you, you are screwed anyways. Ever heard of a "roving bug"? Its what cops use (illegally) to turn your phones microphone and camera on--even if the phone is off, as long as the battery is in they can see and hear whatever your phone does.

I flash new ROMs and wipe daily so even if they were putting firmware on my phone, they'd have to reinstall it every day. Plus I have these custom quick actions; I can turn off certain things (GPS, data, NFC, Bluetooth, whatever) and even if an app has permission it can't use them if I have the master turned off.

I wouldn't worry about cops using them to find you, or single you out BC of posting pics on here. Unless you live somewhere illegal and are posting pics of a 3 or 400 hundred plant operation and post daily your pictures of stacks of blunts, money, and bitches, then you have nothing to worry about. Not BC they don't have anything better to do.

BC they're lazy, and your 3-10 plants won't get them promoted.
