Damn straight , Beware of the Gaylord area ! It was noted that arrests of such have risen due to the MMMA .. I believe that this is just another extra source of revenue ..

It wasn't long ago that I left a friends Dispensary in Gaylord on my Harley .. Low and behold I am on my way home just leaving town on I75 and I see two coppers profiling and shooting the shit .. One state boy and one county . I eased on my throttle knowing she is loud as can be .. Bam the lights were on and I knew that it was not just a random stop ..

This state boy and his county friend both jumped the gun and were on me like shit on a fly .. I knew before they even lit the lights that I was going to be in possible trouble .. I Had meds on me and a few cards to play but none the less I was ready for the worst ..

But fucking by the grace of something this state boy approaches and recognizes me as the Native who raised hell about people shooting at eagles behind my house .. Right away he knew my ink and braids lol .. It was my lucky day as he waived off the county boy and asked me about the mating pair of eagles who nested above the creek in our yard .. I spoke with him for a minute and he admitted that they were looking for drug runners .. This cop was cool and I sensed that he was not one against weed as he always loved to reference the peace pipe like indians smoked weed in it lmao ..

Fuckheads that worried about there Fishing Club more than anything else , they stocked alot of game fish and thought they were entitled to shoot any predators while protecting there stock . Last I knew the DNR shut them down ..

Back on track , yes alot of those pulled over and busted are at fault for being dumb , but at the same time in all honesty anyone can fall victim to the beast , if it wants your flesh you are fucked !

Talking about being fucked on a national level. Here where I'm located the local, state, and highway patrol have been doing random stings monthly since summer just randomly pulling over cars and searching any the feel may be suspicious. They no longer have to have a reason to pull you over or search your car. Now if this doesn't make you cringe you must be nuts. Even if your not doing anything wrong this is no way to treat your fellow citizens. I was pulled over in the sting around valentines day for a seatbelt violation and I was wearing it. I've also noticed just driving around here and where my parents live that there are twice as many cops and almost all of them run plates and profile!! I don't even know what to do anymore to fight such an ugly beast who doesn't follow its own rules.

but i do not think its for cannabis to be illegal...still. Just saying follow the rules/laws and dont give the cops any reason to pull you over. I drive a jeep, jacked 5" with 35 baja claws with a 302 and a magnaflow out the back. I am loud just idling and I went to gaylord to the UEA office and passed 4 state boys on i74 outside wolverine and 4 in the city itself, not one did a double take at me.

may be its me and my oldman way of driving but i havent even been stopped in 10+years and I know I am a bit aggressive to the point of being asshole-ish, fuck i dont know, living in the small town we know everyone and they know the growers and I have never had a problem cept for one knock on my door years ago (Years Ago by Alice Cooper is out there ((like freaky)), check it out).

noone should be arrested for it but dont give them a reason in the first place

I am also always watching out for what appears to be even heavier enforcement from the West Branch post. Roughly exit 195 up to 222ish.

Funny that these days they're looking for things coming out of N. Mich.

I haven't been stopped in 5+ years either until they started these stings where there are 40 cops on duty patrolling and pulling over anyone for any reason just hoping and praying.

They can profile all they want but they atleast need some sort of lame reason to pull you over. So don't speed, don't speed, dont speed, have legal tags and make sure all your lights work. I think I saw it in one of these best advice ever threads "don't do something illegal when your doing something illegal"

I have tints so I should be a bullseye but if I see a cop I roll down the window and I swear they see my face and they lose interest. I do have a note from a doc though so it ends up being a 5 min stop and a sorry for the inconvienience. Seems like 99% of the time though I have no issues. The boring looking guy with glasses and a beard isn't suspicious enough for them I guess... And I'm in Oakland County

I think profiling sucks, but anyone who knows me, can take one look and realize that I have a bag, or just smell me! I have had just about every problem with the law I can think of and never any marijuana trouble. My guess would be that I love weed, and show no shame, and gladly tell the officers yes that is weed you smell and no I don't have any. I prolly just lucky!

I was crusing in my Towncar, and i seen a cop, than a nother cop, than a helicopter, 2 cops behide me one down the road, the one in front turned and blocked the road in front of me, I slow down and a 4th cop comes off a side street. (i was thinking this looks like a raid.. LOL) well all of asudden, they all stopped and turned around and left back the othere diretions.... LOL Im sure on the radio they were like "WRONG CAR, WRONG CAR, repeat That is not the suspect, repeat That is the wrong car......

I was coming back from the doctors in mt. pleasent.

But long story short, THEY WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY, And i bet if they found him, they came down hard on them.

At this time I didn't even smoke weed (expext with friends or at a party)

I can see where that may look funny. Problem is a lot of cops in Michigan have the shoot first mentality. You know its not a crime to kill the innocent if your a cop now right!

Here is the write up in the local paper of what I been talking about. This is what apparently they do around here by me cuz the drug problem is so bad. Too bad they didn't come out and say 75 percent of the drugs they are finding is probably weed. How come the only person to get it is the commenter on the bottom of the page.
