also, 90f is all bad, the vent idea is cool if thats all you can do, but why don't you just move it into the closet? if not that, can you install an exhaust in a high location, or is keeping the vents low the whole idea?

the leaves aren't getting any worse, but I can't say they're getting any better either. It's only day two of the 400w lamp vs the 4' "plant" tubes I was running. Tonight I might change the timer from 6am-midnight to 10pm-10am. gives them a nice big shot of darkness before flowering and then the light will be on in the cooler part of the day to hopefully help with temps. My vent idea is strictly for intake. The one closet I have available is too small and the one I'd like to use my wife is saying she can't go to work smelling like pot from her clothes. *shrug*. I might do something about the bathroom exhaust fan, pull out the POS 10cfm standard issue and put a squirrel cage fan in the attic.

Pics of my updated area. First 2 pics show that I used copper pipe insulator tubes (with adhesive closures) on the majority of the perimeter of the door. Was the best solution I could come up with to keep light-bleed to a minimum. On the inside of the door (2rd pic) I used foam toolbox drawer liner over the louvers. The vent in pic 4 has one just like it on the other side of the wall in our closet as a source of fresh AC air down low where it's cold. 5th Picture is the hood I made out of a 6"dia. X 20" long split duct. I think it turned out alright considering it cost me $0. And the final pic is of my $160 Filter/fan combo. The exhaust flange is just placed over the existing bathroom fan. It almost sounds too quiet to be doing alot of air moving but we'll see what happens. If I find that it's too restrictive this way then I'll make changes.

Not true... once all the equipment is bought and paid for all you're paying is the electric bill and nutes. A 400 watter should only cost you ~$30 a month to run, plus fans, nutes, etc. I'd say your max spending per month would be ~$50 or so. I spend $65/ eighth once a week for ganja right now. Do the math.

Just an update, pics tomorrow. I have 3 confirmed ladys out of 8. No definate signs of either sex in the other 5 yet. Only been just over a week of 12/12. I'm going to run into a height issue real quick with that one big sativa bastage. Got a plan though, not too worried. Really wish I could figure out strains but being from 10yr old bagseed who knows.

up to 4 confirmed females. no signs of hairs or balls on the other 4 yet. been running 12/12 for 2 weeks now. hopefully in the next couple days they'll show something so I can keep or kill lol.

if its possible, could you plant the possible male plant outside? then you'd be able to seed a few buds with the pollen. a healthy male is a good friend to keep at a distance. lookin bomb dude.
