Sorry for following up with this on your thread Smacc, but I was having trouble sending a PM...

I'm just having trouble deciding what branches should stay and which should go. Should I just cut the smallest branches not hitting the light? Some of the lower branches are really finding the light and seem to be growing... others are not. I'm 15 days into flower. Can't figure out which branches will end up as duds. How do you make that determination?
 
man that is so crazy....i am having the same issue but i am just going to tuff it out and cut the bottom...i mean i was looking today and some at the bottow seem pretty strong and i know its going to kill me...im going to be cutting mine tomorrow...i will take some b4 and after pics if u wanna take a look at what i am planning on doing....i been thru alog of threads and i see how those that have cut the bottom hanv never regreated it...

Yeah, I'm just worried because I remember some secondary branches that produced decent bud... then again, most others didn't. I was thinking of selectively cutting the smallest ones. Just don't want to lose good bud sites.
 
From what i believe its all about your root structure. The more roots more bud. If your cutting branches your only focusing the energy where u want it.

When i trim huge bottom branches up too 30% in one sitting my girls love it. As if they were given a second chance on life. Stacking nodes with no need to stretch.
 
So it came out to 21oz 6g's...Stoked about that turns out that i made the right decision...and dont know if i mentioned this earlier but i lost one plant to mites...i just took it out to be on the safe side....and i was able to keep what little left under control....and another that was in the back and just didnt really get any light...i got like 7g's of of that one...

21 oz dried?? wow thats wicked. Can really see the og Kush in those buds ummmm. How are you drying exactly, are u using any type of sweat method or just plain drying in the dryer. Im trying to get my drying/sweating/curing just right. Sticky but dry. Cracking stem.

Yea 21oz Dried out....i mean i know over the nexe week it might lose some weight but still not too much...i treied a little different method this time around...i let them hang for a few days to let them drop down and take shape a little bit thing i threw then in the dryer...one tree i let hang dry with the fan leaves and all and it actually turned out pretty tight. Got that tip from a old school cat that i know....he lets his hang with the roots still attached and all....not ready for all that but they did come out nice...gonna let it cure for the next week and then anything lext over a pound is all me...everything else i must share with the world...oh yea meant to post up yesterday but me and some friends had a 70's show moment...chilled in the back house and just passed it around....i got a thumbs up all around the table....i hosted this lil Mini 420 party...
 
Its very nice looking. tried to rep++ for the bomb kush. Let me know when u dry it and the stem is cracking if its sticky icy. All the triple a kush i see is always so sticky u cant even bust with your hands. But dry enough to smoke. Perfect cure in my opinion. Want to master this for my purple kush

Thanks...yea im not to sure about this new website...gotta get used to it...but yea im keepin a close eye on on it...
 
Hey smacc what an awesome yield brother! Damn rights you're over the pound mark now! Those buds look gorgeous, I can almost smell them from here.

man its been a long time since i been on here bring bacc memories reading my old journal again...i gotta get a new one going learned so much in the pasy year i got my cloning game down so its a great situation....will post up some pics hope all is well with my fellow growers out there...new journal coming soon....
