Basic Flowering Question For Experienced Growers

My plants are now under 12/12 3K fluoro lights.

I need to move a couple outside. they have started to show preflower.

If I move outside need I be concerned that there are currently about 13 hours of daylight and days are getting longer. Will they revert to veg or continue to flower/ They are NOT auto plants.

If they will revert to veg due to longer days any problem with just placing a large trash can over them at say 6-7 P.M. assuming I have ventilation at the bottom? This will maintain a 12 hour light cycle.

No except trash cans are usually dirty. But I you do throw them outside and their outside light cycle increases light period, they will reveg.

I would use a cardboard box
instead of a trash can assuming there will be no rain or wind.
A small lift at the bottom and a few holes on top so the
plant can breath better.
