So growing this blue cheese outdoors. Have alot of experience with photo period but first time growing an auto. Its six weeks old and there are some preflowers but no regular obvious flowering as of yet. Plant is about 2 1/2 feet tall and growing fast and very healthy. 5 leaf leaves on all leaves like a ruderalis. Im wondering if i have a mostly ruderalis or a regular photo period pheno. The pre flowers make me think its fine and at 6 weeks, will still auto flower but the 5 leaf leaves make me wonder if its mostly ruderalis. Ive had photo periods show pre flowers well before actual flowering started so mostly waiting game at this point. Any thoughts?.

yes you could have a photo, i baught a pack of auto seeds that turned out to be some kind of sativa from a well known company, i talked to them, about it and got a free pack of seeds of my choise and 3 fem jack herer seeds too, veru happy ending. i sugest you email the company and tell them the pack containes photos and not autos and see what happens.
i cant wait to grow out the jack herer

Fast pheno?
It has 5 leaves like ruderalis and growing fast like ruderalis. Hoping its not mostly ruderalis which would negate any substantial flowering. Like i said, waiting game at this point. Still might be happy ending as its only 6 weeks and could still auto flower or, if its photo period ill be a bit screwed as im in a 5 gal bucket and by the time daytime hours start to decrease it will be hella rootbound.

Personally I’ve never had out of about 20 autos not flower within 3 weeks indoors

The longest outdoors took 4 weeks to show sex but then flowered really fast.

I hope yours does but unless there’s a really sign of progress within a week she’ll be photo.

To be honest anything that doesn’t flower within 3-4 weeks defeats the purpose of an autoflower

Looking pretty good. Been very wet and a high of 58' today. Flowering 13 days.
Good stuff. I grew an unknown autos out the back a few months ago. A mate bred a BCN Critical with some wild ruderalis he found in khazakstan. It started flowering about week 3, but was hoping for longer veg. Ended up about 3 ft tall. Got a pic of it at week 5 of flower. Got a fair lot fatter, but didn't yield too much. About 60g of decent bud and a fair bit of popcorn, roughly 30g.

Hope yours turn out well. I'd say it's going to be a far bigger turnout than mine. That was my first experience with autos outdoors.

Most of the autos I've seen grown indoors, even some of the heavy Sativa hybrids all started with single leaves, went to 3, then 80% 5. A few 7 blades. Here's a gorilla glue auto at week 7 from seed, majority 5 blades. Pretty normal for autos.

Hey vincenzio. Thats a pretty serious main cola in that first pic. Just curious, how many weeks did she flower? Seems like most autos i hear about flower about the same amount of time a photo does. I also hear different reports on potency. Im not someone that cares for super high thc, heck, im fine with 17% or so. What have you found potency wise with the average photo youve done? Thanks for input and pics.

The plant in the first pic flowered for 10 weeks and was a 14 week plant overall. It looks far bigger, but was only a 3ft plant. Its an odd structure considering it's 50/50 bcn critical and random wild ruderalis. The other autos I've grown outdoors were Santa Marta haze autos. They were harvested at day 93 outside and pulled around 80-100g depending on plant. The smoke was good, but I'm not too picky. Once I get over a quoted 15% THC I'm stoned either way. I found the 7%thc/7% CBD blue crush autos got me plenty high. The haze were a 60 day flower, the auto my mate bred was 75. Indoor they are generally quicker as they get a higher DLI.

This was the BCN photo that the ruderalis was mixed with, so I'm surprised it didn't branch out more. This plant was close to a pound, but took 21 weeks.

this was one of the Santa Marta haze buds at week 4 of flower.

I've got limited pics as I generally get rid of them regularly.

I've never had any of my weed tested as I'm a hobbyist, but the glue autos my mate breeds were tested between 15 and 17% THC, where as the rusty glue and glue cookies they came from tested 21-24%. The rusty glue was quoted at "30% and up" by the original breeder, but I think that's a bit of a stretch.
