Let me & em have it. What's the best strain to grow by them. And what's the reason you would never grow them. Let's hear it.

I've grown their Acapulco Gold. It's definitely not the real deal and is obviously a hybrid but it was decent smoke. I grabbed a pack one night when making an order just to check it out. The seeds all germinated. The plants grew great. No hermies. I'll probably never get anything from them again. Not because I think they're no good but because they don't have anything I want. I would grow the Acapulco Gold again if I had some seeds but I'm not going to make a special order. I have more than enough stuff to grow as it is.

I've had lots of good seeds from relatively cheap names like Barneys, Greenhouse and growi, the two biggest purchases I've made have been a fuck ups from big budha and sensi £80 and £125, only 2 germinated with buhda and the sensi f1 nl#? gave me 8 hermies, I've never had shit like that paying considerably less from less reputable seed names.

I've grown their Pineapple Express Auto and it was potent and very tasty smoke. Not a large yield however. And I have an Acapulco Gold vegging right now about to flip, vigorous growth and smells amazing already. So I'm happy with my limited experience so far. heard good things about LSD or Pineapple Chunk also.

Good to hear about the Acapulco.

Grew their LSD out. Okay smoke but sure didn’t rate the name. But a friend grew some Tangerine strain out that was pretty damned good stuff. Very tasty and nice buzz.

I've grown their Cookie Kush, and their Dr Grinspoon. The cookie Kush was nothing special by any means, wouldn't buy it again but wouldn't turn down a freebie. The DrGrinspoon was a hermie and way too long a flower time. Can tell the flavor wouldn't be my thing even if it wasn't a hermie. I have 2 more DrGrinspoon seeds that will likely never get germinated, the 2 Cookie Kush will likely be seeds for when i dont have anything else going, which will probably be never. I have some of their Ayahuasca Purple seeds waiting to be tried, and i currently have 2 of their Acapulco Gold's going. Pics attached here in a sec, probably 1 more month veg. Putting them through the ringer as well lol, they gonna be huge

I got a freebie of critical kush about 4 years ago, still have the mother. She was my favorite for years. I have a lot of newer genetics in the stable as well but still have patients who like her best.

grown the pineapple express . 5-6 years ago in a lab. It was under a 400W hps and i must say we grew one batch and stayed away from barneys farm. But wouldnt mind to grow 1 or 2 of the pineapple if i get the for free. Was a nice smoke.

Worst seedbank I've ever encountered from my experience. I think they stay afloat with advertisement and not much else.

Mostly unstable F2's and F6's from my experience. Never used their Auto stock but only heard bad things about them.

That being said I think there's good Barney beans out there, like any other seed bank. I just haven't encountered any personally.

Basically you're going to find people that have had good and bad experiences from just about any breeder out there just like you'll get the same with seed banks, nutrient companies, lights, etc...

Just look at the comments in this thread. They mirror other threads with some saying good and some saying bad. Get some seeds and find out for yourself. If they were as bad as some claim they wouldn't have been around since the 90's. There is also a lot of unwarranted hate for the European breeders mainly from America.

There are plenty of people growing the latest "Fire" from the current most popular "Dude" on instagram or the latest "Best" breeder with crappy grows and a tent full of hermies. Many people blame the breeder when in fact it's the grower. Not always but more often than many people will admit.
