what is the cheapest simplest setup that will grow and yeild properly?

eliminating expensive bulbs, fertilizers, etc.

is it possible to grow and yeild(not decently of course) with just say, a single or couple CFL, bag of nutrient soil(since soil is cheap), and some water? and ventiliation of course?
 
Its been done before look for cfl grow in the indoor growing section. If not the like Mr. west said the sun is free!
 
lack of legality in my neighborhood.


is there a way i could SUN grow by using mirrors(or any better relfector) to direct sunlight to my plant without keeping it near a window for LEO's and neighbors to see?
 
Grow hydro in a five-gallon paint bucket. Use the search engine ... its been discussed here before.
