I thinik I like the sound of a Banjo, but as I live in Western Europ I wouldn't know where to start in terms of finding music with this instrament in it.

Any one recommendations?

"Old and in the Way"- Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, some great banjo and mandolin. Check out the song "Catfish John"!

Robert Crumb played the banjo in his band R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders that you might like. They played old-timey music durring the 70's and 80's with an awesome 20's string band vibe. Definitely give "My Girl's Pussy" a listen.
