Banana hooch from TGA

Hey there, I’m going to be showing you my experiences with the Banana Hooch testers. The TGA crew was kind enough to let me have them when I placed an order for Deep Purple (I’ll throw up some glamour shots of that, too).

I started two seeds in a paper towel and planted them in a pot together.

Deep purple. Germed and planted at the same time.

Banana hooch at 17 days & at 31 days of veg. And here is a pic of the seeds I germed. Kosher was a complete mess.... Dispensary bag seed... hermie central.

Here is the BH again, at 2 months veg from germ. My first round of clones. Low success rate, but that issue has been resolved. Here is the only BH clone that made it through

Here is my deep purple at 2 months old. This plant is a suuuuper squatty one, regardless of distance from the light. The next picture is at 3 months old. I have decided by this point that my POK, BH, & DP will be my mother plants.

Here are the clones, and others, the day before the flip. Next, at day 14 of flower; the banana hooch is in the center and the deep purple is just behind it, between the two bushes. Here’s a pic of the DP clone and her mom.

It’s the third week of flower for the group shot. Then DP on day 20, what a difference in a week! After that is the Banana Hooch trich stackage on day 28. The last two are Banana Hooch on day 34.

Here are the moms at 4 months 17 days from seed. And here is the BH mom getting ready for a root ball trim/transplant just a week later. I had a problem with one of the two plants in there flowering under veg. Too crowded, I think. Ayway, I have taken four clones of each to find out which one is best, and that pheno is already indicating instability. I would also like to know which plant produced my current BH in bud.

Banana hooch macro pics were taken on the last nute boost day, on day 40. You might see some seeds. I had some nanners pop up in my buds around week 3... I really like the way this stuff chunks up, though, it’s a shame to get the nanners and seed bullshit. I might try to out cross to a kush and then cross back. She smells like over-ripened bananas sitting on the seat of a 78 Chev work truck in the blistering sun. The cleavage between her voluptuous calyxes glistens in the light. She’s maturing quick, I have plans to pull her out first at the 55th day.

Timeline all caught up, and today is day 42. I’m going to be flushing now.

Thanks, man, I’m happy with both of these strains and will be keeping them in the stable for now. I’m especially pleased with the Deep Purple at this stage in the game.

I didn’t know there was such a thing as getting on a tester list.. sounds like it could be awesome. I tried to score some testers from somebody on Instagram, but there were a lot of other people who definitely wanted them more than I did hahaha. I didn’t try too hard.

I transplanted two BH clones. One from each mother. pBH for the purple variety and gBH for the green one. The first pic is the night I transplanted them. The second pic is day 18 of flower

Here are the (p & g)BH moms prior to a little defoliation. They’re 6 months old now.

Yeah, I agree. I couldn’t find any literature on the BH circulating the web, so I thought it would be nice to document it. Oh man, that would be rad to test some more! I’ll PM you
