so, i've been reading voraciously and growing haphazardly, ripping and running by the seat of my pants and losing my mind - it all moves so damn FAST...
i started growing about 4 1/2 months ago...way too big, way too much, too little money...no experience... i've gotten some amazing results...
wonder haze in a bubbler was the first thing i harvested - 5 oz off 1 plant, but about 20% of that was seed weight from the 4 F1 calis that hermied from heat stress... or maybe it was one of the 7 yellow berries that hermied from heat or light or underwatering or...maybe it was 1 of the F1 mixed berries that made pollen out of sheer mean... - killed them all (yellow berry, mixed berry, and cali) - and all of their spawn - saved some seeds lol
wonder haze in a bubbler was the second harvest - HORRIBLE burn right at the end... some douche bag dint top up the water - this plant went through approximately 3 1/2 quarts per day - and the 1000 watter ate it dry for prolly MOST of 12 hours...6 oz off that one - about 25% seed
then 3 1/2 off an F1 - 30% seed...
some more went that way
most of the issues are most of the way under control...mostly.
at this point, i've got 2 BEAUTIFUL F1s sour diesel crossed by blue jamaican
both are 54 days into flower both are mostly cloudy trichs - very little actual white - NO amber at all... so far i had thought that they had eluded the pollination due to their age, but... yesterday i found 2 seeds poking out of sd/jb03 and 1 on sd/jb04
today ...
i'm growing gorgeous pot man...big nuggets...
i've got bananas on sd/jb03 and i really just want to be done with this insanity and grow some FU__ing sensimillia...that's all.
i've read that many strains, having been unpollinated all of their lives will - late in flower - produce stamina as a last-ditch effort to perpetuate themselves...
that's great and all, but...
i picked off what i found and ate it - i will dominate it's spirit in this way. The problem is that spirit domination evidently takes a really long time and...
please help - should i just harvest?
i figure i could ...
A - let it go and just keep a close eye on it, checking it twice a day for bananas
B - isolate it , sacrificing light intensity, but letting it finish
C - at lights out tonight, put a trash can over it and keep it there for 24-36 hours, THEN harvest...
D - fucking kill myself - there's no such thing as sensimillian pot.
