Bamboo & Charcoal Tap Filters experiences

Hey guys,

I recently came across these filters that can directly attach to most taps. It is said to contain Activated Charcoal, Bamboo and some other material.

They're used for removing chlorine, heavy metals and lots of other elements from the water that we dont want and as it has to pass through a 3 layer filteration system all impurities are removed (or atleast most)

Has anyone used these before, what have you experiences been with them and did it help with PPMs and possibly PH? Are they worth the buy?

They last approx 4 months which is perfect for me and they're around $4 to buy

Hey thanks for the reply, I've measured my water where i am in UK and it' around 280-300ppm which would be considered hard water (alot more natural occurring "minerals") which spike my ppms up.. If I lowered it then i would have alot more room to add sufficient nutes.

I had read that these actually remove chlorine but I'm not sure to what extent or how well these actually work
