Balls ! Balls ! Balls! Vile Weed !

The first balls appeared for me today. I cut the plant down and disposed of it. My question is: Once balls appear, how long would it take them to reach maturity and spread pollen if they were allowed to continue to grow ?
This was on a juicy fruit plant.

From my experience it takes about 7 days, but I haven't worked with a lot of males. Are you worried about seeds?
