Hi guys, ive always wanted to post a journal on this site but I have always been a bit scared to as the legality of green in my country in akin to the Stasi.....Anyway I have a VPN and I figured the cops have better things to do than look up grows on this site. So here goes....

I have been growing for quite some time and I have my shit dialled, I have hunted through strains and phenotypes and found a couple that just suite me fine that being Critical Impact and Super critical(I think, well I think maybe the seed companies might have got their seeds mixed up as you will see)

I chose these strains because they are very stable, super vigorous and I get consistent results. I am using-

Medium- Coco pearlite mix 70/30
Base nutrients- Advanced nutrients connessieur
Cal/mag- Any old stuff really
Flower boner- Advanced nutrients Bud igniter
PK boosters- King Kola
Late flower boner- Advanced nutrients Overdrive
Silica magic

Lights- Spider farmer quantum boards.
Fans- A lot
Pots- plastic17 litre
Drain table

We cut into day 39 flower and I have just watered the girls with 650ppm nutrient solution of part an and b, cal/mag and King Kola.....ph'd to 6.0. At this stage in flower I like to raise the the ph as the plant absorb Potassium and Phosphorus much better. And also I crank up the air circulation to ward off the dreaded botrytis(bud rot). I have also started to cut some of the bigger shade leaves in half or even take them off to aid in the reduction of humidity and increase circulation. As you can see I run a very tight grow but I am OCD with how the girls are spaced so I maximise production. BTW, it's ten plants and they are just starting their swell....always exciting but nerve racking!

Critical impact is the first pic, and Xmas tree in the second. They have been cloned 5.6 weeks ago. I pull the centres after 4 sets of leaves. The I have a regime of super cropping to get and even canopy and some good “knuckles” to increase the flow of nutrients and water into the canopy of my plants.

Ok, so it’s time for the next generation of Xmas tree and Critical Impact to come out of the cupboard and into their tent. 1200mm by 1200mm by 2000mm. Under vipaspectra cheap shit light. But it’s veg so it don’t matter. They will stay in here until I chop the flower tent and then they go into 17 litre pots for 1 week the I flip them.

Day 50, not long now! Swell has been under way for a week and a bit, I have tapered my feeding schedule down and I gradually trim the leaves on all my plants. I do not rip off any leaves that grow out of buds as that causes botrytis(budget). I have also turned on my dehumidifier and turned the lights down to 50%, this makes the plants think that winter really os coming. I have the heater on still but I have it turn off for half an hour here and there to give a cold break to get some good coolers out of the girls and more trichomes. Last seven days I sent down to 500ppm then 400ppm....now the last watering will be zero, but to no run of so the plants cannibalise the salts left in the coco. I do not bother to flush as they have been fed lean their whole lives and I have never had a complaint about the flavour and quality of smoke, well not in the last 5 years anyway. IMG_0536.jpeg

Xmas tree in all her glory, dont be fooled, the width at the base is big and she still has plenty of filling out to do...it matures quickly in the next week.

Critical Impact- As dense as they come and such a nice smell. So many great size tops, very easy to trim and massive bag appeal.Still got a bit to go.
