Balcony growing questions

Sure why not. I have a few on my back deck and because of the way the sun hits I only have 1 corner where the plants receive full sun. Looks like your balcony is 2' wide, I'd use 5 gallon plastic pots since you probably will be moving them alot to work on them.

I don't know the direction and it gets sunlight for a couple of hrs a day.

but i read that autoflower plants doesn't depend on the light and thats how people grow outdoor in places like canada or where they don't get enough sun by using autoflowers.

Is the space enough for 5 plants?
I see people post pictures of their growing place and it's packed with plants.

You can probably get 3-4 plants in that space. But sunlight limitations are going to keep your yield minimal.

I would think your best chance at a worthwhile harvest would be to start inside in a controlled environment, go through veg, initiate flowering, and then have them out there.

Autos don't depend on shorter hours of sunlight to flower, but they require adequate sunlight to produce nice large solid buds. It appears you may be facing south which is great but your'e balcony is set in giving you a short window for full sun. I see your neighbors have a thriving plant, looks like it's stretching outwards to get the sun. You don't mention temps or growing season so I assume your'e in a warm area?

I can't find premixed soil bags in my country.

I have access to perlite, coir, peatmoss, verm.

What is the best mix for BALCONY growing.

How much peat moss and how much perlite per 5 gallon pot.

Is hydroponic nutrients made of calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate and iron?
If yes then yea i can get it.

i recommend 60% peat 40% perlite or somewhere around there

yes those are ingredients but ideally you want to find something that is mixed already. because you need more than that and you need the proper ratios.

a fertilizer for tomatoes will work

oh okay. that is the "part A" and then there is a part "B" that you must also buy. they keep them separate because calcium and sulfur can't be stored in the same bottle.

if you get A + B i'm sure that it will work. it doesn't list everything in it. but

there is also another brand on that website with a 3-part nutrient that looks a little better:

https://egypt.souq.com/eg-en/hydroponic-nutrient-solution-hydro-power-250-ml-c-35428647/i/

i'm sure they would both work fine for you.
a tomato fertilizer would not be better, but might be easier.

Yea i have lime.

Yea sure i can buy A and B from this site and use them together with the peat and perlite.

The 2nd link its written A only, can i use It alone or should get B too?

Thanks man...

cool. no problem!

yes i think if you use the A + B and peat/perlite/lime you will have success.

the 2nd link was just the other nutrients but i'm sure the A+B will be just fine.

either is fine. just use about 1/4 cup lime per gallon.

so if you do 5 gal, would be like 3 gal peat, 2 gal perlite, 1 1/4 cup of lime. probably 1 cup would suffice.

How should i prepare the peatmoss should i pasteuriz it or just mix it with the perlite and lime out of the bag?

How and when to apply the two hydroponics too?
Mix a few ML with water and use them after the seeds has sprouted?
