And those things Rob, are the cost of doing business in America.
Thank you for acknowledging the organization is flawed and rotten at the core. It will take people of courage to change this....going along with something that is so obviously wrong....you okay with this?

I have no interest in anarchy Rob. Anarchy works as a form of government only in small groups and for short periods of time. I cannot argue that my money is used to put "peaceful" people in jail or kill innocents.

Anarchy to some people means the absence of a central all controlling authority. It doesn't mean "chaos" is necessarily part of the equation.

I do not describe myself as an Anarchist by the way. I do believe in Voluntary interactions and that any entity that initiates force is wrong. I'm not interested in supporting wrong....are you?

Chesus...I'm afraid your argument lacks depth, clarity and substance and seems an awful lot like the incoherent whining of a person incapable of mounting an intellectual argument.

The problem that I see is that removing a central authority introduces more problems than it corrects.
Without one, a state becomes fatally slow at organizing certain vital functions, like a defense.
The example of the American revolution was extraordinary, since the combatants were separated by an ocean in the age of sail, and we had help. Without the French and Dutch to slip us assistance, the Revolutionary War would have ended differently.

In today's age of routine jet travel, the capacity to place a warhead anywhere in less than an hour, and near-instantaneous worldwide news distribution, the need for an agile, responsible center is greater than ever. cn

I came here because I dont feel the US is operating up to par based on the fact it is no longer the best place on earth to raise a family.
Our govt may have bad people in it, as a whole it is not rotten, some people do still care.

Whether people care or not isn't the issue. The foundation of government is built on one group of people dictating to others what they will or will not do. The protection of liberty and freedom for peaceful individual expression and life was what was supposed to happen....how's that working out now?

do you really not feel that servers and food service employees deserve to be paid a fair wage for the amount they bring in to the company . . .50% cut, better hope you dont say that next time you go out to eat to your server

Yes, I do.

However... Fair wage is set by a competitive market place, not the government.

Reagan's been dead for almost a decade now but you can still blame him for shitty, minimum wage, part time service jobs? damn he is fucking badass.

I don' think he's a bad-ass, but most Republicans thought and still think he was the 2nd coming of Christ.

And, even being dead, his 'trickel down' policy seems alive and well in that Party.

I remember Carter, no job, money was dwindling in value daily, inflation above 10%. Life sucked. Then Reagan came in with the help of Volcker and raised interest rates that made the dollar whole once again and saved the day. Of course you can't do that today as it would kill the government dead in one fell swoop, so the only politically tenable position is to inflate the supply of dollars.

no, no no!

carter was a the Prince of Peace, and his halo only shines brighter now that he is an "elder statesman" (leftist code for a failure so failey that they failed tier way to the top) and now builds houses for poor people!

his halo is only outshined by BHO's nimbus of glory.

reagan was an evil man, and he nearly ruined this nation with his wicked desire to see all do better, rather than punish the successful for the delight of the failures!

modern leftists are Robespierre,, feeding the successful to madame guillotine for the amusement of the rabble at the bottom, while they strip the wealthy of their wealth for their own enrichment.
