Notes and suggestions for next year

Germination:Planted seedling indoors on 3/10/ 2008;transplanted into a DWC organic hydroponic set up, soil was fox farm organic mix of bat guano and worm castings. DWC contained plain H20 approximately 5-9 gallons in an 18 gallon Rubbermaid container.

Vegetative growth period:
Using a hydro-organic method; DWC was plain H2O and 1 gallon pots contained organic medium. Seedling grew vigorously expressing very large deep green fan leaves. Maximum leaf count was 9 fingers. Plant stature seems to be a short indica type. Vegged plant for 46 days using a combined nutrients consisting of:

Earth juice (grow)
Fish Emulsion
Epsom Salt
Black Strap molasses

FIMMED plant after 1 month of vegetative growth, and used top as clone for future breeding. Plant moved to flower when longest FIM branch plus stem was approximately 11 inches. Lower branch stretched to almost equal the new main cola. As a result of the FIM plant extended to six branches that has a very uniform xmas tree like structure, and didn’t required any support.

Cloning: cloning was very ez/ plant rooted within 21 days and to date clone is 15” (listed at 8 inches. Clone has 10 branches popping from 5 nodes.

Flowering phase:
FAST FLOWERING! Plant shows signs of sex within 1 week of the changed light cycle. Plant stretched from 12 inches to 24 1st 2.5 weeks of the flower phase. Signs of trichomes where visible by the week three. Soil was amended with 50/50 (3tbls.) cow manure and organic compost to help with nitrogen 4 weeks into flowering; regular nutrient solution during flowering is high in potassium and trace elements.

Bud sites where evenly spreads between internodes and grew daily. Very dense growth and the buds smell of pepper and spice. Flushing began at 42 days flowering with plain tap water.

Harvest: Plant was removed from DWC and trimmed on day 46 still attached to the root ball. Plant was set out in a cool dry area for 4 days. On day four plant was cut from root ball and hung to dry.
