Bad timing

Hello, I'm off on holiday and will only have time to dry my buds, not cure. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on whether it would be ok to put dried bud in the freezer, defrost it when back from holiday and then jar cure. The alternative is to hang dry it in a pretty hot room for >2 weeks.

Hmm hard to know what to believe with lots of sites saying freezing dry bud is ok. I guess the questions are:
1. Is it ok to freeze after initial drying, prior to proper curing
2. Will it be possible to defrost the buds and jar cure.

Invest in some self burping jar lids. I don't own any, because I would need about 60. Then you can holiday worry free while your nugs belch away back home on autopilot.

Nevermind, you have to use a pump every day. All they did is add more steps. Wtf

I've run into the same issue here, but for other reasons than yours. When my first plant dried, I cut the buds off the main stem, did a quick trim of the larger fan leaves, and jarred it them to cure. Fortunately I'm home to burp the jars, so I can't really help you there. Still have to trim the curing buds in a bit.

Do you have time for a quick trim and a week or two of burping? That might do it.

5 gal pail with an air pump and check valves. Run the air pump off a humidity controller. I used 4 of these when harvesting outdoors this year. Just to buy some time to clean the rest.
