the .44 mag is not the strongest handgun, but where did that come from?
The Dirty Harry series stars Clint Eastwood as a detective in San Francisco. In the series he has a famous line where he says ".44 magnum is the strongest handgun known to man." I was making a joke about it because I love the dirty harry series.

For those who voted against Prop 19, as messed up as it may of been, you got what you wanted. No to legalization and now the state is going to say NO TO SALES as there is NO TAXES to collect. You may of won your small battle but you have done lost the war. There are no legal options to test now.
Dude, what part of weed is a federal offence don't you understand? Just picture it, weed was legalized yay, we are all happy, partying, taking bong tokes. Coffee shops start opening and other marijuana type businesses. Oh wait, Steve Cooley won. Didnt Cooley say he will comply with the federal government and do anything to defeat the marijuana movement?

Nobody said he was the king of Cali.
He has an anti-medical marijuana agenda!
Not only that, he has acted upon his agenda within his own district against state law.
He has now been giving a bigger district and his agenda hasn't changed.:dunce:
On top of that, the last vote showed to him and others, that the majority is against legal pot.(in their eyes)

The new California Attorney General is going to see to it that there are no more over the counter sales in dispensaries!
OK, so what all go to deliveries, like funkin dominoes, that's how most in my area are doing it anyway....no storefront except for verification of paperwork. Works great and you don't even have to leave the house if you don't want to.

So, is this what happens when a medical marijuana system is unapologetically exploited to the limit by rec users who have a chance to legalize it, but don't? No one thought that law enforcement would see the obvious abuse and start actively trying to shut these places down?

Sometimes, you do it to yourselves.

Cooley is a dickhead...he has no respect for anything he doesnt "agree" with and abuses his power flagrantly here in LA. He is continually ignoring standing state laws. How could this guy be elected to an office that is supposed to honor and uphold the law, and be bi-partisan? It's so damn wrong...

Did he get elected? WTF? Can someone point me in the the direction of a website that says he won?
At the point, it seems likely that the true winner won't be determined until the late absentee and provisional ballots are counted. There are likely tens or even hundreds of thousands of such uncounted ballots.

Harris, a Democrat, leads by 5,576 votes, 0.1 percent, according to the vote count released today by the Secretary of State's Office.

EXACTLY!! He squadered city resources when asked to stand down and went ahead with HIS raids... This guy thinks he's the next Wyatt Earp. He has a hard on for completely shutting down the medicinal movement.. Better hope this clown fails miserably, because he's only just getting started with his agenda(s).

dude, i get what youre saying and yes the feds are all about busting all caregivers, BUT (and this is a big BUT) when you said last time that "fed law trumps state law" I don't think you pose a good enough arguement. Obviously CA paved the way for other mmj states under the BUSH regime, and without a great deal of people getting busted (I didnt say zero i said not a great deal as in compared to the total # of businesses. check the numbers before you argue that). And cooley doesnt get to decide what the people would have already voted in as a state law. He could only work on adding legislature to that law, or write a new law overturning it (which would take alot more than just him). anything he did on a local level was, believe it or not, in compliance with state laws as far as counties deciding their own business restrictions, something we the people have to demand a change on in mmj legislature.

In other words READ THE CONSTITUTION, in particular the part about states governing themselves. The only Fed law that trumps state is the constitution and the specific descriptions of the amendments to the constitution. Just because they ARE the feds (who have the man power and balls to do whatever the fuck they want), doesnt mean they are following the actuallity of our federal laws, all of which are supposed to be based on the constitution.

Having said that I agree that even with legalization, the feds are a huge speed bump. They can slow us down but they cant stop the number of people that we equal. Some highways might lose funding in the process and one or two mega farms would get busted. So stop hating on dirty harry (thought you could have gotten the 44 mag thing, idiot) and let others decide for themselves if that cost is worth it, which IMO it is.

I 100% agree, but the Feds have been pushing how far they can bend the constitution with out breaking it. I don't think they are to worried about breaking the constitution because this current government sees the constitution as a hindrance to what they want to do to us.
That started back with Bush senior up to current. Arizona is being sued by the feds for ENFORCING federal immigration laws and was posed to try and sue California, if Prop 19 passed, for NOT ENFORCING federal drug laws.
The Constitution was made by the people, for the people, to protect the people. Government hates that right now. Where in the constitution does it state the feds can force us to buy anything? It doesn't but this government health care crap will do just that. Can't afford it, your fined. Can't pay the fine? Off to jail with you....WAIT A MIN!!.....
Maybe that is why they did it. If MJ becomes legal, the prison system will collapse due to lack of prisoners...wait, they are making criminals out of those with no insurance. If the fed is in charge of your life, there is going to be a whole lot of more stuff that will get one in trouble. To fat? Criminal. Not exercising? Criminal. You lived to an old age and are now sick? Care DENIED.
They are shifting the target around because they will make sure the meat grinder of corrections will always be fed one way or another.

well ya they see it as a hinderance. they dont want to be stopped with whatever they want to do and want total power. Mark my words, soon we will no longer be a democracy and a communistic country hiding under a democratic face. we are already heading that way with obamacare, and unless WE THE PEOPLE do something, which is our constitutional right, it will be too late and we will have no rights. we outnumber feds and the government in its entirety 100-1 by far. probably more like 1000-1. they know this and this is why they try and strike fear into us to make us complacent with what they are doing. fear is the only way to control the masses, and if we show them we are not scared of them, we wil strike fear into them. i think the Tea Party group is on the right track of standing up for what is right and what they believe in. all they need is to influence and open the eyes of the masses and we can get this ball rolling. this government is not going to fix what we are going through and what is wrong with this country. its going to take citizens of america to do that, they same way our fore fathers did.
