Bad Neighbor, should I kill him or what?

Yesterday I was sitting on my couch with my son playing games and I here a mans voice at my front gate, about 15 feet from my front door. I open the door and look out and see 2 firemen and 2 cops. They are investigating a "strange chemical smell" and want to check my backyard. After I shut down the a/c to my grow room I let them into the yard and they didn't find anything making any kind of smell and they left.

At first I had no idea why my neighbor called them and reported a "chemical smell". But after talking with a fellow grower/friend last night we figured it out. If he reported a marijuana smell then no one would have came because no one gives a fuck about MJ. They probably thought meth lab and that's why they came in force to investigate. We live in a nice middle class neighborhood, average home price is around $700k, and I'm the youngest homo'ner here.

This guy is hating on me and mine. What should I do to "fix" him.

I've got a similar situation. I've been wanting to kick my neighbours ass for about a year now. I have decided against it because of my grow, and the fact that I have kids. People that have medical gardens and children in the house have been messed with by child protective services here in Michigan.... so I have to keep my cool.

I really want to leave civilization behind and live in the sticks with no neighbours for miles

Just spitballing here, but does he happen to be Islamic? Could he pass for Islamic? Does he have any 18 y.o. (approx.) zealous children?

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Find his weakness.

I have the neighbor from hell and I live in the sticks (well, the plains actually). I could go on about this asshole but you all would never speak to your neighbors again after reading it. And this dicks house sits over a half mile away from mine.
@Dyna Ryda ...ignore him buddy, trust me. You dont want ANY trouble with neighbors, even if they are the ones totally in the wrong. Its just better to show him you arnt bothered by his actions and he will most likely stop. IRL troll is what ya got. Dont get me wrong, I love to vent and imagine what I would do to my neighbor, but all he gets when face to face is a big fat smile.
