bad clawing

before people start nagging on me for plant abuse... this plant is a rescue i got it yesterday and it looked like this. what do u think could be causing it to do this

i just had to deal with some "claw" problems myself. mine turned out to be too much nitrogen. the other common cause is over watering. are you able to ask the previous grower for any history?
i noticed some burnt tips which looks like nute burn. given that, i'd be leaning towards too much N. a good flush should bring them out of that.

k, thanks for the tip. it has been flushed and hopfully in a couple days it will be lookin better

if you're able to, i'd get a soil test kit and see what the nitrogen is testing at.
