You growing in soil? Pot size 2 to 5 gallons? If so, don't do anything but give her water when dry and 18 to 24 hours of light for the next month. After that, you'll need to start to add nutrients, but right now the less you touch your plant the better. Patience = faster growth.

Give 18 hrs light the other 6 of dark is great for roots. You will have a bigger veg this way. Wait another week and then give some Veg Nutes. Do not touch leaves unless they are more than 50% dead. The leaves are what Powers up the buds to come, so more leaves ~ bigger buds.

liberty cap photo up there is right. all you need to do is make sure she has a large enough pot to allow for maximum root growth. light is a must. i would use CFL if you cant get your hands on a HPS light. keep the temp at or around 75 degrees. make sure shes got a fan blowing on her to build strong stems to support big buds. and be patient. DO NOT FERTILIZE until about three to four weeks in. youll stress her or worse if she gets too much of what she needs.

If you plan to flower at that time get a fert with a high P in the N-P-K that's on the bottle. Whatever is good for first time, just be sure to use 1/4 strength of what the bottle says for the first few times.

to be honest, every time I tried to do methods to get my plants to grow faster, they turn out to be either hermie, or a male. The only times I had success were when I just sat my a$$ down, and got patient. in my perspective, a plant will grow better if you try to mimic its natural environment as much as possible. Anything more or less would just cause stress. and we all know what stress leads to.
But usually after your plants are about 2-3 weeks old, uses nutes that contain a good amount of nitrogen, but its pretty important not to overdo it. add your nutes about every other watering. (at least thats what I do.) During flowering, your going to want to use nutes that contain a good bit of phosporous...to put simply. I had some pretty good success from this.

After 3 and a half weeks give her some Bio-bizz "Bio Grow" stuff (1ml per litre) till you flower...when you flower (12/12 lights) use Bio-bizz "Bio Bloom" (1ml per litre) and keep feeding til you reckon you have 2 weeks left - flush once (twice the amount of water with no fertliser) 2 weeks before you pull then keep using UN-FERTILISED water after that and you'll be happy when you pull them!

a heat pad is a good thing.have the fan on a timer, not running all the time. i usually have the fan come on for about a half hour, about three times during the light cycle.

Just an FYI N-P-K is nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Vegetative growth likes more Nitrogen while Flowering requires more Phosphorus. Do not over fertilize, it can not be stressed enough!!!

i would use fox farm. i'm a frist time frower too and at first i was skeptical about how well it works. I saw a lot other people on here using it and thought maybe it is the best. but i also thought, whats more important, the name on the box or whats inside it? i went the first 2 months using random nutes i had laying aorund the house and then switched over to the fox farm. that shit really does make a difference. the plants love it, love it, love it , love it, you'll notice a difference the first day you add it

Transplant into a bigger pot for now, this will help the plant to grow faster. Wait like 5 days for the plant to fully recover from the transplant. If you want to prune it, wait until it reaches 18 inches at least for better results. I topped one of mine once when it was just 5 inches and it produced a small plant with small buds. Listen, if you want a quick grow then get a chia pet and watch the grass grow fast. Growing the ganja is a hobby for people with patients and will only reward people with patients. Your better off buying bud if you want it quick.

IIlou, I have an oscillating fan that runs 24/7 on high from start to finish. Results; big strong stems able to support huge indica buds without using bamboo sticks.
