I wonder if the soil is too rich. I had similar problems with my jack frost seeds. At one point the leaves turned straigt up and turned yellowish. I blamed it on over watering. But I didnt think I overwatered. It kinda seemed like they were in a dormant stage for a few weeks. But it made it through it. I think I backed the light up another inch untill they turned green again. Once I put them under hid lights they started growing like crazy. They are 2 feet tall now.

To clear up any confusion I am refering to the clover leafs. There are a couple plants that have a yellow tint to the normal leafs not bad though. When I woke up this morning it looks like its getting worse every day. the clover leafs are brown and curling up, and are notiicibly dryer then the rest of the plant. it looks like a rotting apple or something. Could it be my shitty lighting i thought this might be able to get me through till I can get the better light. Maybe not. Also what could I do to check if the soil is too rich.

Perfectly normal. The "leafs" you are refering to are the seed meat. They store nutriants and moisture. As the roots and leafs develop they are no longer nesicary to the plant and fall off.

yeah the leaves above look grean and healthy those two round ones have pretty much done their job protecting the first leaves when coming out of the ground...wouldnt worry to much just try to keep those first actual leaves healthy

They wont stay healthy wihtout some type of nutriants. Organic based nutriants are widely available. Even some miricale grow sticks is better than nothing. Just flush in your last 2 weeks. Also your PH has to be checked or the plants wont absorb any nutriants and WILL die.

PH is at 6.8 in the soil and 7 in my water. I dont mind using non orgranic ferts. They are close to 2-3 weeks old, They got stunted real bad in the first couple of weeks this being my first grow didnt know what to expect but the temps were at 104 for about a week so they got stunted pretty good im sure. Think I should start using nutes now and whats the most widely used fert for soil?

There really are only a few basic things that cause a plants health to diminish. These are just a few off the top of my head.

1. Heat - Plants getting to hot or the lack of heat.

2. Ph - Ph balance out of wack.

3. Nutes - To heavy on the nutes, or no nutes at all.

4. Water - Over watering, or not watering at all.

5. Bugs - Bugs or parasites eating at roots or leaves.

6. Lights - Over exposure or under exposure.

7. Soil - Hard and or compacted soil.

8. Minerals - To hard of minerals and or metals.

9. Hours - Hours the plant has been under light. Typical for plants to droop towards end of the plants day. Some plants also can't handle a 24/7 lighting (some).

If anyone else can do any better or see that I have forgotten something, feel free to speak up!

What ferts you use should be determined by local availability. You dont wanna run out and have to wait for a shippment. You should get at least 3 things to start,
1. GROW - will be blatantly stated on the bottle as a growth formula.
2. PH up & 3. PH down - may be a little harder to find. Can get online as they dont get used at a very fast pace.

When you start flowering/budding you will need a BLOOM formulated fert.

Think of it as the yolk sack in an egg. The baby chicken or whatever uses the nutrience in the yolk until its gone. However, by then the chicken is strong enough to eat food from the environment.

Just so everyone knows to fix this problem I added some nutes to the mix and they took off, The reason that they were yellowing is because when I went to buy soil someone told me black gold to buy, so I bought it but I didnt realize I just bought organic garden compost not a potting mix, stupid mistake but they are doing extrememly well now that I got that all cituated.

=)

Well that was probably the problem. The Compost is good soli too but dosnt have as much pre introducd nutriants, and they run out a little sooner.

Dont worry about buying new soil if you have some left as it is allmost the same stuff. Just watch for signs your nutriants are used up, or start your nutes a little bit sooner than this time, so there isnt a gap.
