B4 using fert, do i?.....

Was tryin to figure out if I was supposed to, A. check the pH in the soil and match how much fert i need to make the respected pH all around? Or, B. Just check the pH in the water and adjust? Or, does the fert even make the pH change?:roll: I can't get any replies on ma threads!?:twisted: I thought that this site was supposed to be helpful!....... Can I get some help over here please!?:sleep:

hello, are you going organic? what is your soil mix? what is your waters pH? these are all important things you should know, and yes ferts do change pH and can easily burn/kill plants if you over-fertilize

I'm thinkin about going organic. (fox farm) I've seen all of this done b4, but that was a while ago. Just tryin to freshen up b4 I get started. So basically u gotta even it (pH) out.? Meaning; I'm gonna need a pH/up and pH/down?

just make sure you ph the water after you add the nutes. the nutes will sometimes lower the ph.you can use fox farm right out of the bag. no nutes for at least 2 weeks and then only about 300-599 ppm
