Not here to argue. Just inform. Don't worry. A lot of people still make wax. And I still smoke it. But when I get it I heat it into shatter. It's 1 extra step. How do you turn shatter into budder? With the vac chamber? Because I have one of those too.

what do you do after its shatter(not sap) to make it budder? I have 23g of shatter I'm willing to try your tech with a little to see what your talking about.
love that jager sticker on the glass door! verynice, Oh and of course the extractor is super sexy!

So your putting it on a seedling mat for three hours? You are probably scraping it in the process also. Thus mixing the bho. I don't touch the oil untill it is fully purged. Then I shatter it out like Walter white. I have a chamber large enough to hold my pan and a toaster oven big enough too. So no razor blades stirring the waxes at all in it. It's all just science.
Im not hating on budder. I actually just took a huge glob of some diesel budder a second ago and it tasted great. Just stating I get the same concistency everytime. No auto budder. I run bho for two shops 2-3 times a week and they always get glass. Different colors from different strains. But always glass. I still smoke budder when it's around. I'm not an oil snob. Just got my tech down.

And I'm sure your budder taste great too. I still like budder. I like all different kinds. Ice wax, budder, amber glass, wax, ISO, bubble, pressed, sifted, scissor, and whatever you got that is made from thc. Variety is great. :)

Where is the line for a need for blue flame here? I like to add extracts to my joints, but I can only use the latter of your examples correct?

It's not so much the tech you use that makes the extract great. It's the quality of the material. Anyone can use tools to make bho. It's the smoke that makes one better than the other. Not the tech.

I'm referring to use as the end user/patient smoking the extract within a cigarette of flower. I'd be wasting a "wax" correct?

Yeah. The cherry doesn't get quite hot enough to vaporize it correctly. You better off using regular hash for that. I've used it to seal papers that are unfolding but that's about it. People do it all the time though.

Have any of you seen or used the cartridges that are compatible with 501 batteries? They supposedly fit a gram.

A local ecig place is going to have them in stock next week. Im going to give them a whirl. They ordered them from BC.

Yep, I use those cartridges with my Joyetech 501 batteries. I do believe they hold more along the lines of a 1/4 gram, as they only cost $20. The only city in the state I have found them is Ann Arbor. It seems the provider is taking off now though, they even have a website: http://pharmfreshproducts.com/

Have you considered offering 510 eCartridges Rare D MI? The D and Flint really could use such an option. I could hook you up with manual black batteries branded with a US flag for about $7 each. I'd give it some thought if I had your skills brother ;)

The problem is not all ecigs a created equally. Almost all of them sold in dispensaries are tincture based cartridges that aren't very strong. A friend of mine distributes them to multiple spots in AA and ypsi. I feel the way to go is get one you can fill yourself and buy your own oiil. Dont depend on dispensaries for your refills. I can fit about a gram of oil in my cart and my battery lasts forever. Lavatube FTW.

I hear ya brother, the Lavatube and it's likes are the way to go for wax use. As for patients though, you have to consider the lowest common denominator here. Wax has gained popularity over the past couple years, but it's tough to work with without a good amount of experience. The tincture extract based eCarts give patients a stronger and easier option than flowers without the investment in true wax equipment.

True that. Check out my friend's carts they provide at arborside in AA and herbal solutions in ypsi I believe. They use very high quality bho to make the tincture. Not sure what they are branded as now.

Yeah, OM is where I grabbed my first ecig and carts last year. Great place, nice people, I just have some major issues with how they do certain things... Like they sold a strain as sour diesel for 2 years that wasn't sour diesel and me and other friend's tried to tell them that it wasn't and they didn't care. It's fine when it's an obscure strain, but when it's the most prevalent, popular and easily distinguishable strain in the country, come on... They also flaked out on stocking RD beans, they were the first spot I offered them up to.

I guess you have to believe the grower giving you the goods ;) I ran across a table at G3C a few weeks backs with a jar of Northern Lights that was obviously some sort of kush in both smell and color. I just walked away, as that was not a conversation I was willing to have ;)

So if I am looking at this correctly....the lava tube is made out of plastic and has polyfil in its cartridges? Thats two negatives in a row if you ask me.

If posting links isnt cool I apologize in advance.

Like those are 100% stainless and ceramic. No plastic to heat up and release nasties, no polyfil wicks to burn.

Only the case for the battery is made out of plastic. The cartridges are stainless steel. No plastic gets heated up. Don't use the carts lava tube provides, like I said get 3.2 ohm 510 carts. They come with easily removable cotton inserts, not polyfil. No wick.
