B.C outdoor

Hi,
I have a few questions about outdoor growing.
I live in B.C. Canada, and I am having troubles figuring out what strains that autoflower. I know ruderalis x (n) but when searching in seed banks, I need to know what works in out Hemisphere and flowers in summer; harvest in late sept or early oct. Harvest needs to be done by first frost; end of October we get frist frost.
I have found a location that that I think will work. I am going to use 3gallon pots and hand water via a 50gallon drum with a utility pump and 3/4inch hose. How much sky cover do they really need? The location is in our forest but with a clearing with lots of low shrubs that will needed to be cleaned up. The trees are mostly spruce but the clearing has some deciduous scarcly ploted. My plan is going to place the plants near the deciduous trees in which they are 50-80 feet tall.
I am not on a south slope, but I do have a decent clearing. Does it alwy have to be on a south slope?
Thanks for the info. Please respond only if you have grown outdoors, and not just read jorges book.

Lowlife has many autoflowering combonations (auto ak47, ect), and if the seedbank has a search function type "early" and a number of early finishing strains should come up. Also most seed banks should say when the strain finishes outdoors.

Hey
Yea they do say when they finish, although that does not mean it will work in B.C. It has to be an auto flower. Ill check out the use of early in the search engine and lowlife thanks for your time

Well I dont know what u read or hear about BC is mostly just amplyfied to make it seem better than what it is. BC is great along the coast but when u get around the central interior or mnt its not that easy because of frost etc... strains that are more on the indica side do not work here... It has to have a ruderialis cross in which flowering is do to maturity!
Anyone know of any good strains that may work? Anyone grown outdoors???

Any outdoor strain should be OK..I'm in a place with more dicey weather and have never had any problems... NL grows well up north..this year I'm doing hijack and secret service.. I've had plants out till Dec. but usually grow from may - late oct/ early nov..

cheebamonkey, hi
I am close to P.G... so close I can smell the pulp mills. What would u use?
About the NL, I dont know about that one!! I have heard about someone doing it, but having to harvest early!, The big point is that, there needs to be a strain that is an early flower, triggered by maturity, and produces decent with a good looking appearance!!!! What does anyone have to say about that... Any good strains lol
