Azamax or other preventative insecticides

I currently use neem oil as a preventative. I was talking to a few cannabis nursuries that have popped up in northern california the other day and the two I was talking to used Azamax. Whats your opinion on Azamax and what else would or do you use?

There's lots of info on this stuff already...But since I use Azamax personally il chime in....I use it as a preventative measure, as I'm sure you know it's not a kill on contact but an antifeedent. I like to alternate between cold pressed neem and Azamax ....However the last few years I've just mixed the Azamax as directed and added neem with a little dish soap ...I mist my plants with this mix about every 14 days during vegg....I stop all sprays once flowering is in full swing, wether they they say spray up until harvest or not .....I personally like azamax, it's pricey but a little goes a long ways. It has worked awesome for preventative maintenance on my plants ....

I do 7ml of Azamax and a cap full of the neem...if I had to guess id say it's probably 5ml of neem ...then a few drops of dawn dish soap as a wetting agent ......that's in a mister that holds 25 ounces of water .....no issues using this mix as prevention the whole way through ....from seed into early flower ....hope that helps GL

I have watched as neem oil did nothing to stop or prevent bud worms. I asked my shop what I could do and they suggested Aza-Plus. It is pretty much the same but higher concentration. Three treatments during veg last the entire season. This was an outside grow so the plants were exposed to everything.

Its great. I always use as a preventative....i would suggest the premeasured vials as you can over do it. Also gh makes a great spray bottle to go with it making spraying the undersides a cinch.
