Ayone had problems with Indonesian Bat Guano?

The roots look good to me

thats a shitty pic ... so that dont help ... its the angle of cam i think. Anyways those roots do not look good as they should, just going by the pic. But again that pic dont do justice. i'll try to get a decent pic of roots later......

I use the same guano as Relaxed but I use it as a root drench(Or scratch a bit in depending, I have three different types of guano I use though). Personally I think guano is best used in that way and not mixed directly in the soil. It's pretty strong and a little goes a long way.

I didn't see it mentioned that Sea Bird Guano is completely different than Bat Guano in that the Sea Bird Guano has Lots of N and the Bat Guano has Lots of P so part of the problem for one was you picked the wrong guano possibly. The Sea Bird would be the better choice if your lacking in N or going high in the P and K. I was feeding the Bat guano about 4th week flower when I used it and that was it one shot of it lightly.

Well that sort of depends on what guano you use. They have high N (Mexican bat guano). High P also with Indonesian or Jamaican.

i just got some peruvian sea bird guano yesterday it says it has 10-10-0 .i ran out. i dont remember the last number.
i know it is VERY HOT and a little goes a long way. if not you will smoke your plants.in concentrate it has a very strong ammonia smell to it.
blood meal i think said it had a 12-0-0 .

If you do your research Seabird Guano is the do all be all nut package. You won't have a lack of anything using it. NEver looking for something to make up for lacking or making nut changes. simple boys and girls. veg to flush...why make it difficult? The last month use less and your done. Take a sharpie pen and make holes in the soil in 3 places filling with guano. Fill hole in with soil and water. It will dilute as you water the next 4 weeks (repeat monthly)....No more dead leafs...looks like Lowes garden center in spring bloom with rich deep green plants. Cheers.... Sheet does wonders for house plants and outdoor plants....I am thinking of buying a bucket and doing the same to all the shrubs perennials etc...And its less the $15 bucks.....I pity the fool...

Do you just plop a single pellet into the hole you make with the sharpie? Or what exactly are your measurements?

Your problem is a simple one. Bat guano ( Jamaican and Indonesian) is high pH. It runs about 8 - 8.5. You need to lower the pH to get it to work for you. I use the crystal earth juice, I think it is called, and it takes 1/4 teaspoon pH down for a gallon of water ( your water may be different then mine) that has had added to it 1.5 tsp of either the two flowering guanos mentioned above.

I do not use the high nitrogen guanos as my base mix is good for the tranistion and the few weeks into budding. I start with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil add 4 qts worm castings and 8 qts perlite (my base soil) - mix it up. I add my base( about 3-4 inches) on the bottom of a 5-7 gallon pot, sprinkle in the few tablespoons of the 5-5-5 dry fert as a layer and cover it with more base soil( 3-4 inches) - then add a 1/4 inch layer of pure worm castings and add my final layer of base.

I transplant the plant into that. Give it a few days to adjust(usually transplanted OUT of a 1 gallon pot) and then place in 12/12. That last for 3-5 weeks with just adding water. From there I add the Jamaican @ 2tsp gal H20 ( pH adjusted to 6.0 ish), steeped as a tea for 2-3 days - I use it once a week for 2-3 weeks then do the same with the Indonesian guano until finished.

Buds grow lushly, taste great and it is a cheap way to grow....

little late but anyway.....Like any good cook its about a good size pinch in this case. Some might say a dip of tobaccee in good size. maybe 5-8 pellets work....

hi there, somebody of you knows is bat guano in the mix with water acidic or alkaline, i used one from Plagron and it always result in toxicity in my plant but the instruction say 50 litres in 1000 litres soil but as soon as i gave them less than this but my plant's leaves start to fall down, what is the problem with this bat guano???
