Ayahuasca

I lost the link to the good Ayahuasca thread here on RIU...but anyway..
Want to brew some caapi/mimosa for me and some friends. This site: http://www.ayahuasca-info.com/recipes/ says caapi is really the active ingredient, but idk...Everything else was saying you take the caapi so the mimosa will work better. Anywho, for 3-4 people, what should I brew? I was thinking 20g Caapi/30g Mimosa? All first timers

-Also, all these instructions leave someting out, it's probably obvious but I'd like to clarify before starting this; when you have simmered down the first pot, it says drain through a cloth of some kind, and then restart the process...But what do you do with the strained plant material? Re-use it?

caapi is the MAOI and the DMT is then active....the more MAOI you tkae the more sensitive to the orally taken dmt you are...dmt-nexus has alot of info on ayahuesca/pharmahuesca ...more htan just the few threads about it that are on here ...make sure you and your friends aren't taking any prescriptions or over the counter meds that are contraindicated with MAOIs they can be very dangerous

Actualy mimosa is lightly active on its own oraly due to complemetary alkaloids it contains. (Does make you vomit like crazy though).
This is the 21st century, lets follow the ways of old, but with a bit of modern science... (extractions, i.e. pharmauasca)

He is talking about pharmahuasca. Rather than making a tea out of plant material, you would do an extraction getting you powder DMT, though it won't be pure. Then either do an extraction to get your MAOI or else you could just ingest a couple of grams of pegnum harmala.

I'd extract the harmaloids from the syrian rue too, its pretty straight frowarding involveing salt and vinegar (or even better vinigar essence mixed with water).
