Well I am dreading the coming frost so I decided to say fuck mother nature and made this...hasn't been really needed YET but soon...

just take it off a few hours every day. That should suffice

i agree with that...I'm just using this to prolong the flowering slightly...i don't think the plant will ever go to what it coulda have been...also,leaving a bucket of hot water in the "greenhouse" during the night.

The ground should act as an insulator.

yea the ground even at like 3am doesn't feel TOO cold yet..i gotta find something better than the bucket of water though it goes cold or warm whatever after an hour or two..i've been doing it twice nightly but damn what a pain in the ass...

yea it does but i know how hot/warm the optimal growing temps are...and at night the box doesn't have much heat in it,which is really the overall goal here...i read somewhere that the low temps at which i am near....stop the plant from producing/being able to grow....soooo i am thinking that this plant is only working part-time...instead of full time,if that makes sense to you....it is 8 degress Celcuis right now(bout' 11PM),7 degress celcuis at this time last night...

i would put a 2nd one over it doubble glaseing i get ice inside my car u dont want the condensation to freeze will bring temp down, just a idear i kept mine in pots well £1 buckets and im running them to cella this week,

lol 1 smoke and my head starts thinking dont plants breath in 1 thing during day and other at night so self regulating its own air (use to get them glass globe lights that has a few plants in it but closed in the condensation watered plants and they never needed fresh air

idea: put an incandescent light bulb in there with the plant. you'll have to do something to block the light from shining on the plant and so no one sees it, but a single bulb should keep the plant nice and warm all night. I know a few people who use them in the winter to keep water pipes from freezing.

putting a light in there is a little outta the question.I made that box for about $8.I got my seeds from some good weed I got....I know that I fucked up a little bit(shoulda read the whole thread) but this is just to get a little mre outta the plant until I have to pull it.

I think the doubling idea is good. Air is an excellent insulator. Staple some visqueen or something on the inside of the frame, keep the Saran Wrap on the outside, et voila, double-paned grow house.
